Pile Foundation
Bored Cast-in-Situ Piling Specialists
Jalmala Boring Works provides Pile Foundation and Deep Foundation Solutions using Bored Cast-in-Situ Piles for residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. With advanced Hydraulic Rotary Rigs, we construct piles from 300 mm to 1800 mm diameter and depths of up to 50 metres, delivering reliable load-bearing capacity across soft soil, hard rock, and high groundwater conditions.

Our Piling Methods
We deploy six proven techniques — selected based on soil profile, site constraints, and project requirements.

We specialize in bored piling with diameters ranging from 200 mm to 2000 mm and depths up to 50 meters. Using advanced hydraulic rotary rigs, we execute piling operations efficiently across a wide range of soil conditions. Our fleet includes high-performance rotary drilling rigs capable of working in restricted headroom areas while delivering precision, stability, and high productivity.

Secant pile walls are constructed by intersecting reinforced concrete piles to form a continuous retaining structure. Primary piles are installed first, followed by reinforced secondary piles after sufficient curing. This technique provides excellent groundwater control and soil retention, making it ideal for deep excavations, basements, and foundation support in challenging ground conditions.

The Manual Auger Method is a reliable piling technique suitable for locations with restricted access or where low noise and vibration are essential. A tripod and manual winch system are used to drill boreholes using a helical auger. This method is commonly employed for pile diameters ranging from 250 mm to 1000 mm and offers an economical solution for smaller foundation projects.

Our Truck Mounted Rotary (TMR) rigs utilize continuous bentonite slurry circulation to stabilize boreholes during drilling. Auger drilling is performed to the required depth while bentonite slurry supports the excavation and carries excavated soil back to a recycling tank. This method ensures bore stability, efficient spoil removal, and high productivity, particularly in loose or soft soil strata.

The DMC Pile Method employs Mendola-type rigs combined with bentonite drilling fluid for safe and efficient pile construction. Surface soil is loosened using a bailer before drilling continues with a percussion chisel. Bentonite slurry stabilizes the bore while transporting excavated material to settling pits. Once the desired depth is achieved, the drilling tools are removed and the final depth is verified before reinforcement and concreting.

This method utilizes tractor-mounted rotary drilling rigs for fast and economical pile boring. Auger drilling is carried out to the required depth, with DMC rods added progressively to achieve deeper penetration through varying soil strata. It is particularly suitable for medium-depth foundation works and offers drilling capacities of up to 16 meters with excellent operational efficiency.

Driven Piles in Kolkata – Built for Gangetic Alluvial Soil & High Water Table
Driven piles have been the foundation of choice in Kolkata for decades, and for good reason. The city sits on deep Gangetic alluvial deposits — soft clay layers, silty sand, and a high water table that makes bored piling challenging. Driven piles solve this by densifying the surrounding soil as they are hammered into place, gaining reliable capacity from both skin friction and end bearing. If you are looking for a driven pile contractor in Kolkata, you need a team that understands both the technique and the local geology. Jalmala Boring Works brings 60+ years of piling experience and ISO 9001:2015 certified processes to every driven pile project in Kolkata we take on.
Why Kolkata Needs Specialized Driven Pile Expertise
Kolkata's ground is dramatically different from cities built on rock or laterite. The Gangetic delta soil is deep, soft, and waterlogged — a profile where bored piles risk borehole collapse and where soft clay can squeeze during boring. Driven piles avoid these problems by displacing the soil rather than removing it. The technique densifies the surrounding alluvial deposits and gives reliable load capacity. Add seismic zone III requirements, and it becomes clear why a driven pile contractor in Kolkata who has not worked in these conditions will struggle to deliver safely.
Our Driven Pile & Deep Foundation Services in Kolkata
As a specialist driven pile contractor in Kolkata, we deliver four interconnected deep foundation disciplines. Our driven pile services use modern piling hammers and precast pile techniques for high-rise, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects across Kolkata. Our pile foundation work supports building and industrial structures. Our diaphragm wall construction is trusted for deep basements, metro corridors, and retaining structures. And our ground anchoring systems provide lateral support for slopes, shoring, and excavation support in soft alluvial conditions.
Serving Salt Lake, New Town, Rajarhat, Howrah & All of Kolkata
We serve the entire Kolkata region — including driven pile projects in Salt Lake, New Town Rajarhat, Bidhannagar, Howrah, Dum Dum, Barasat, Barrackpore, Sonarpur, Behala, Tollygunge, Ballygunge, Alipore, and the EM Bypass corridor. Our rigs and teams mobilize quickly across the city, and we coordinate with local consultants and site engineers to keep the programme on track. Whether your project is a high-rise tower in New Town, a commercial complex in Salt Lake Sector V, an industrial facility in Howrah, or infrastructure work in Dum Dum, our driven pile contractor team in Kolkata is ready to mobilize.
We also work extensively outside Kolkata — our headquarters is in Ahmedabad, and we have active operations across 20+ Indian states. This gives clients in Kolkata a partner who can scale with them across multiple sites. When project owners compare driven pile contractors in Kolkata, they look for a team that combines local project experience with national execution capability. That is what Jalmala Boring Works delivers.
Safety, Quality, and On-Time Delivery
Kolkata's soft alluvial soil and high water table demand disciplined driving protocols, vibration monitoring, and trained site teams. Our driven pile projects in Kolkata follow the same ISO 9001:2015 certified processes we use everywhere — third-party inspections, documented safety protocols, and a zero trench collapse record. When you hire Jalmala Boring Works as your driven pile contractor in Kolkata, you gain a partner who treats your timeline and your safety standards as commitments, not targets.
