How We Work

Our Piling Methods

We deploy six proven techniques — selected based on soil profile, site constraints, and project requirements.

Hydraulic Rig
01
Hydraulic Rig

We specialize in bored piling with diameters ranging from 200 mm to 2000 mm and depths up to 50 meters. Using advanced hydraulic rotary rigs, we execute piling operations efficiently across a wide range of soil conditions. Our fleet includes high-performance rotary drilling rigs capable of working in restricted headroom areas while delivering precision, stability, and high productivity.

Secant Pile Walls
02
Secant Pile Walls

Secant pile walls are constructed by intersecting reinforced concrete piles to form a continuous retaining structure. Primary piles are installed first, followed by reinforced secondary piles after sufficient curing. This technique provides excellent groundwater control and soil retention, making it ideal for deep excavations, basements, and foundation support in challenging ground conditions.

Manual Auger Method
03
Manual Auger Method

The Manual Auger Method is a reliable piling technique suitable for locations with restricted access or where low noise and vibration are essential. A tripod and manual winch system are used to drill boreholes using a helical auger. This method is commonly employed for pile diameters ranging from 250 mm to 1000 mm and offers an economical solution for smaller foundation projects.

TMR — Water Circulation
04
TMR — Water Circulation

Our Truck Mounted Rotary (TMR) rigs utilize continuous bentonite slurry circulation to stabilize boreholes during drilling. Auger drilling is performed to the required depth while bentonite slurry supports the excavation and carries excavated soil back to a recycling tank. This method ensures bore stability, efficient spoil removal, and high productivity, particularly in loose or soft soil strata.

DMC Pile Method
05
DMC Pile Method

The DMC Pile Method employs Mendola-type rigs combined with bentonite drilling fluid for safe and efficient pile construction. Surface soil is loosened using a bailer before drilling continues with a percussion chisel. Bentonite slurry stabilizes the bore while transporting excavated material to settling pits. Once the desired depth is achieved, the drilling tools are removed and the final depth is verified before reinforcement and concreting.

Tractor Mounted Rotary Rig
06
Tractor Mounted Rotary Rig

This method utilizes tractor-mounted rotary drilling rigs for fast and economical pile boring. Auger drilling is carried out to the required depth, with DMC rods added progressively to achieve deeper penetration through varying soil strata. It is particularly suitable for medium-depth foundation works and offers drilling capacities of up to 16 meters with excellent operational efficiency.

Pile Drilling Contractor Gujarat – Drilling Subcontractor for Consultants, Environmental Firms & Piling Contractors

Most piling contractors in Gujarat offer full-service pile installation — drilling plus cage plus concreting. But there is a distinct market for drilling-only services: geotechnical consultants who need soil investigation boreholes; environmental firms who need groundwater monitoring wells; structural engineers who need rock cores; and other piling contractors who need a drilling subcontractor for their own projects. If you are looking for a pile drilling contractor in Gujarat who provides this specialist service, this page is for you. Jalmala Boring Works has been providing drilling subcontracting services since 1962, and our drilling services across Gujarat are trusted by consultants, environmental firms, and piling contractors.

Soil Investigation Drilling – For Geotechnical Consultants

Soil investigation borehole drilling is the foundational service for geotechnical consultants. We drill boreholes to specified depths, conduct Standard Penetration Tests (SPT) at 1.5m intervals, collect undisturbed samples at designated depths, and log the complete borehole profile per IS 1892. Our soil investigation drilling in Gujarat is used by consultants for high-rise foundation design, industrial plant design, infrastructure projects, and building permit applications. Deliverables include complete borehole logs, SPT N-values, sample photographs, and a drilling report. Documentation quality matters more for consultants than drilling speed — and this is where our experience makes the difference.

Groundwater Monitoring Wells & Piezometer Installation

We install groundwater monitoring wells and piezometers for environmental consultants, industrial compliance monitoring, and geotechnical instrumentation. Services include: standpipe piezometers for simple water level monitoring; vibrating wire piezometers for automated data logging; groundwater monitoring wells with slotted screens and filter packs for water quality sampling. Our monitoring well installation in Gujarat is used at industrial sites in Ankleshwar, Vapi, Dahej, and Mundra for environmental monitoring, and at geotechnical sites across the state for groundwater observation. Installation records, development logs, and initial readings are provided as standard.

Rock Coring & NX Core Drilling – For Structural Engineers

Rock coring is the extraction of continuous cylindrical rock samples for structural design verification. We drill NX (54mm) and HQ (63.5mm) cores through Saurashtra basalt, North Gujarat granite, and Kutch hard strata. Our rock coring in Gujarat provides structural engineers with core samples for Unconfined Compressive Strength (UCS) testing, Rock Quality Designation (RQD) calculation, and joint description. Deliverables include cleaned and boxed core samples, core photographs, core logs with recovery percentages, and RQD calculations. This is essential for rock-socketed pile design, foundation on rock, and infrastructure projects where rock mass characterization matters.

DTH Hammer Drilling – For Hard Rock Conditions

DTH (down-the-hole) hammer drilling uses a pneumatic or hydraulic hammer at the drill bit to penetrate hard rock faster than rotary drilling. Used when Saurashtra basalt, Kutch hard strata, or North Gujarat granite is encountered and rotary drilling is too slow. DTH is faster than rotary in hard rock but generates more noise and vibration — so it is not suitable for urban sites with sensitive adjacent structures. Our DTH drilling in Gujarat is used for anchor hole drilling, micropile drilling, and hard rock investigation where efficiency in rock matters most.

Casing Advancement & Oscillator Drilling – For Boulders & Loose Strata

When boulders, karst, or loose strata cause borehole collapse, standard rotary drilling cannot maintain the borehole. We use casing advancement (oscillator) drilling — a temporary steel casing is advanced simultaneously with drilling, supporting the borehole walls throughout. Our casing advancement drilling in Gujarat is used for soil investigation in boulder-prone areas, piling subcontracting in karst terrain, and monitoring well installation in collapsing strata. This is one of the more technically demanding drilling methods — our experienced drillers and modern casing oscillator equipment handle it reliably.

Anchor & Micropile Drilling – For Piling Contractors

We provide drilling-only subcontracting for anchor installation and micropile installation. Piling contractors who have their own tensioning and grouting capability but lack drilling capacity use our anchor and micropile drilling services in Gujarat to add capacity to their projects. Deliverable: completed boreholes at specified inclination and diameter, ready for the contractor's tendon installation and grouting. This is a flexible engagement model that helps larger contractors scale their operations without owning additional drilling equipment.

Serving Consultants, Environmental Firms & Piling Contractors

Our pile drilling contractor team in Gujarat serves three distinct buyer groups. Geotechnical consultants — for soil investigation boreholes with IS 1892 compliance, SPT, undisturbed sampling, and professional documentation. Environmental firms and industrial compliance teams — for monitoring well installation, piezometer placement, water quality sampling support, and ongoing environmental monitoring. Piling contractors and main contractors — for drilling-only subcontracting when they need additional drilling capacity without owning the equipment. Each buyer group gets the same quality of drilling, documentation, and safety discipline.
