How We Work

Our Piling Methods

We deploy six proven techniques — selected based on soil profile, site constraints, and project requirements.

Hydraulic Rig
01
Hydraulic Rig

We specialize in bored piling with diameters ranging from 200 mm to 2000 mm and depths up to 50 meters. Using advanced hydraulic rotary rigs, we execute piling operations efficiently across a wide range of soil conditions. Our fleet includes high-performance rotary drilling rigs capable of working in restricted headroom areas while delivering precision, stability, and high productivity.

Secant Pile Walls
02
Secant Pile Walls

Secant pile walls are constructed by intersecting reinforced concrete piles to form a continuous retaining structure. Primary piles are installed first, followed by reinforced secondary piles after sufficient curing. This technique provides excellent groundwater control and soil retention, making it ideal for deep excavations, basements, and foundation support in challenging ground conditions.

Manual Auger Method
03
Manual Auger Method

The Manual Auger Method is a reliable piling technique suitable for locations with restricted access or where low noise and vibration are essential. A tripod and manual winch system are used to drill boreholes using a helical auger. This method is commonly employed for pile diameters ranging from 250 mm to 1000 mm and offers an economical solution for smaller foundation projects.

TMR — Water Circulation
04
TMR — Water Circulation

Our Truck Mounted Rotary (TMR) rigs utilize continuous bentonite slurry circulation to stabilize boreholes during drilling. Auger drilling is performed to the required depth while bentonite slurry supports the excavation and carries excavated soil back to a recycling tank. This method ensures bore stability, efficient spoil removal, and high productivity, particularly in loose or soft soil strata.

DMC Pile Method
05
DMC Pile Method

The DMC Pile Method employs Mendola-type rigs combined with bentonite drilling fluid for safe and efficient pile construction. Surface soil is loosened using a bailer before drilling continues with a percussion chisel. Bentonite slurry stabilizes the bore while transporting excavated material to settling pits. Once the desired depth is achieved, the drilling tools are removed and the final depth is verified before reinforcement and concreting.

Tractor Mounted Rotary Rig
06
Tractor Mounted Rotary Rig

This method utilizes tractor-mounted rotary drilling rigs for fast and economical pile boring. Auger drilling is carried out to the required depth, with DMC rods added progressively to achieve deeper penetration through varying soil strata. It is particularly suitable for medium-depth foundation works and offers drilling capacities of up to 16 meters with excellent operational efficiency.

Pile Foundation Contractor Morbi – Municipal & Industrial Procurement + Post-2021 Safety Verification

This page is for Morbi Nagar Palika engineers, District Panchayat engineers, ceramic unit procurement teams, and industrial project evaluators selecting piling contractors after the October 2021 bridge collapse reforms. It is not a services overview — it is a functional guide to Morbi municipal and industrial piling procurement, with the specific registrations, post-2021 safety audit verification, and pre-award questions that determine whether a contractor can be shortlisted. For the engineering services themselves (ceramic kiln piling, captive power, Machchu floodplain), see our Morbi piling services page.

Post-2021 Bridge Collapse – Elevated Municipal Procurement Standards

The October 2021 Morbi suspension bridge collapse killed 141 people and triggered district-wide structural safety reforms. For municipal piling procurement, this means: mandatory third-party structural audits for all load-bearing infrastructure; ISO 9001:2015 certification as pre-requisite (not preference) for government tenders; stricter Zone III seismic design enforcement with no exceptions; heightened scrutiny of bridge and building piling; and expanded safety documentation requirements. Contractors without systematic third-party audit records and post-2021 reform compliance face disqualification from Morbi municipal projects. Our post-2021 compliant Morbi piling documentation is complete on first submission.

Nagar Palika and Panchayat Registration – Two-Tier Approval

Morbi government piling tenders fall into two distinct registration tiers. Morbi Nagar Palika handles urban (city) projects — municipal buildings, roads, bridges, water infrastructure — with higher budget thresholds and formal e-tender processes through nprocure. Morbi District Panchayat handles rural (village-level) projects — village roads, panchayat buildings, local schools — with a simpler tender process but requiring separate Panchayat registration. Registration timelines: Nagar Palika 4-6 weeks; Panchayat 2-4 weeks. Contractors often need both registrations to bid across the full range of Morbi tenders. Our Morbi Nagar Palika and Panchayat registrations are current on both.

Ceramic Unit Vendor Registration – No Central Portal

Unlike municipal tenders, Morbi's ceramic cluster has no central vendor portal — each of the 800+ ceramic units (and their larger group structures) maintains its own vendor registration. For ceramic unit procurement, verification requires: ISO 9001:2015 certificate; kiln foundation and firing line experience; ceramic industry project references with client contacts; safety audit records; and technical capability documentation specific to the ceramic equipment requirements (kiln vibration isolation, firing line continuous support, press and glazing foundations). Registration typically takes 2-4 weeks per ceramic unit or group. Contractors already empanelled with one major ceramic group can leverage that for others. Our ceramic unit vendor empanelment covers the full range of ceramic production segments.

E-Tender Platforms and PQ Pack

Morbi piling tenders are published on nprocure (Gujarat Government e-Procurement — primary), CPPP (Central Public Procurement Portal), and GeM. Standard PQ pack requires: ISO 9001:2015 certificate with audit reports; third-party structural audit records (mandatory post-2021); Nagar Palika or Panchayat registration; safety management system; financials (3 years audited); project references from government or municipal projects; equipment capability statement; statutory compliance; key personnel CVs; past load test and PIT reports; contractor all-risk insurance; Zone III design documentation and IS 13920 ductile detailing compliance. Missing any of these results in technical disqualification. Our Morbi piling PQ pack is complete on first submission — saving 4-6 weeks of evaluation time.

Pre-Award Questions for Morbi Post-2021 Projects

Before awarding, ask every shortlisted contractor: (1) Provide three Morbi government or ceramic industry project references with client contacts. (2) Share your most recent third-party structural audit report — required post-2021. (3) Provide your Nagar Palika and/or Panchayat registration status. (4) Show documentation of Zone III seismic design compliance and IS 13920 ductile detailing from past projects. (5) For ceramic unit projects, show kiln foundation and firing line experience with specific facility references. (6) Share your standard subcontract terms and payment schedule. (7) What is your mobilization timeline considering post-2021 documentation requirements? Contractors who hesitate on third-party audits, Zone III design, or ceramic-specific experience should be excluded from shortlist.
