How We Work

Our Piling Methods

We deploy six proven techniques — selected based on soil profile, site constraints, and project requirements.

Hydraulic Rig
01
Hydraulic Rig

We specialize in bored piling with diameters ranging from 200 mm to 2000 mm and depths up to 50 meters. Using advanced hydraulic rotary rigs, we execute piling operations efficiently across a wide range of soil conditions. Our fleet includes high-performance rotary drilling rigs capable of working in restricted headroom areas while delivering precision, stability, and high productivity.

Secant Pile Walls
02
Secant Pile Walls

Secant pile walls are constructed by intersecting reinforced concrete piles to form a continuous retaining structure. Primary piles are installed first, followed by reinforced secondary piles after sufficient curing. This technique provides excellent groundwater control and soil retention, making it ideal for deep excavations, basements, and foundation support in challenging ground conditions.

Manual Auger Method
03
Manual Auger Method

The Manual Auger Method is a reliable piling technique suitable for locations with restricted access or where low noise and vibration are essential. A tripod and manual winch system are used to drill boreholes using a helical auger. This method is commonly employed for pile diameters ranging from 250 mm to 1000 mm and offers an economical solution for smaller foundation projects.

TMR — Water Circulation
04
TMR — Water Circulation

Our Truck Mounted Rotary (TMR) rigs utilize continuous bentonite slurry circulation to stabilize boreholes during drilling. Auger drilling is performed to the required depth while bentonite slurry supports the excavation and carries excavated soil back to a recycling tank. This method ensures bore stability, efficient spoil removal, and high productivity, particularly in loose or soft soil strata.

DMC Pile Method
05
DMC Pile Method

The DMC Pile Method employs Mendola-type rigs combined with bentonite drilling fluid for safe and efficient pile construction. Surface soil is loosened using a bailer before drilling continues with a percussion chisel. Bentonite slurry stabilizes the bore while transporting excavated material to settling pits. Once the desired depth is achieved, the drilling tools are removed and the final depth is verified before reinforcement and concreting.

Tractor Mounted Rotary Rig
06
Tractor Mounted Rotary Rig

This method utilizes tractor-mounted rotary drilling rigs for fast and economical pile boring. Auger drilling is carried out to the required depth, with DMC rods added progressively to achieve deeper penetration through varying soil strata. It is particularly suitable for medium-depth foundation works and offers drilling capacities of up to 16 meters with excellent operational efficiency.

Pile Foundation Services in Anand – Amul Dairy, Agricultural University & Education Hub Expertise

Anand is not a generic central Gujarat city. It is India's 'Milk City' — home to Amul and the Kaira District Cooperative that triggered India's White Revolution — plus Anand Agricultural University (AAU), Vallabh Vidyanagar (Sardar Patel University and multiple colleges), and Karamsad (Pramukhswami Medical College). The city spans three distinct piling profiles: large dairy facilities requiring cold-chain and hygiene-compliant foundations, education hub campuses requiring vibration-sensitive institutional piling, and GIDC industrial units on central Gujarat alluvial soil. If you are looking for pile foundation services in Anand, you need a contractor who understands dairy, education, and central Gujarat alluvial soil. Jalmala Boring Works brings 60+ years of deep foundation expertise to every Anand pile foundation project we take on.

Amul Dairy – India's Milk City & White Revolution Birthplace

Amul is India's largest dairy cooperative (Kaira District Cooperative Milk Producers' Union), headquartered in Anand and the birthplace of India's White Revolution (Operation Flood, 1970s). The Amul cluster operates multiple large facilities in and around Anand: milk processing plants, cheese plants, ice cream facilities, cold storage warehouses, and packaging units. Amul dairy piling requires: cold-chain compliance for frozen and refrigerated storage; hygiene and wash-down floor tolerances (FF50+ with proper drainage slopes); heavy racking loads (50-200 tonnes per column for packaged dairy storage); and vibration-sensitive execution near ongoing dairy processing. Contractors without dairy industry experience often under-design floor flatness tolerances. Our Amul dairy piling in Anand is calibrated to these specific requirements.

Anand Agricultural University & Education Hub Piling

Anand's education hub is one of Gujarat's largest — Anand Agricultural University (one of India's premier agricultural universities), Vallabh Vidyanagar (Sardar Patel University and multiple colleges), and Karamsad (Pramukhswami Medical College and hospital campus). Education hub piling requires: institutional building foundations (academic blocks, hostels, research labs, hospital buildings); vibration-sensitive execution near ongoing academic and research operations; coordination with campus administration for access and scheduling; Zone III seismic design; and compliance with government tender processes (public universities). Our Anand education hub piling covers all three campuses.

Central Gujarat Alluvial Soil – Different From Every Other Region

Anand sits on central Gujarat alluvial soil — deep alluvial deposits (typically 30-50 meters of alluvium over bedrock), with occasional soft clay layers at various depths. This is fundamentally different from every other Gujarat region: no Saurashtra basalt (3-8m rock), no Kutch saline (extreme salt marsh), no North Gujarat weathered granite (variable depth rock). The piling implications: friction piles are the default (no shallow rock for socketing); water table management is critical (higher than semi-arid North Gujarat but lower than coastal); soft clay layers require careful pile spacing and bentonite management; and settlement is a bigger concern than capacity (longer piles to reach competent strata). Pile design for Anand is entirely different from other Gujarat projects. Our central Gujarat alluvial piling is calibrated to these conditions.

Anand GIDC, Nadiad, Petlad & Industrial Corridor

Beyond dairy and education, Anand's industrial belt extends across the district. Anand GIDC hosts mixed industrial units (engineering, chemicals, food processing, packaging). Nadiad is an adjacent industrial town with its own GIDC estate. Petlad, Borsad, and Umreth are surrounding towns with textile, chemical, and food processing units. All share central Gujarat alluvial soil conditions with Zone III seismic design. Our Anand-Nadiad industrial corridor piling covers the full range of industrial segments.

Khambhat Port – Historic Gulf of Khambhat Coastal

Khambhat (within Anand district) is a historic port on the Gulf of Khambhat, one of Gujarat's oldest maritime hubs. Khambhat Port piling requires Gulf of Khambhat marine conditions — 8-12 meter tidal range, saline soil, and cyclone-resistant design — but at a smaller scale than the major ports (Kandla, Mundra, Dahej, Bhavnagar). For projects at Khambhat Port, the piling specifications are marine-grade (chloride-resistant concrete, enhanced cover) but the infrastructure scale is typically coastal fishing port rather than large commercial terminal. Our Khambhat port piling is calibrated to these specific port conditions.
