How We Work

Our Piling Methods

We deploy six proven techniques — selected based on soil profile, site constraints, and project requirements.

Hydraulic Rig
01
Hydraulic Rig

We specialize in bored piling with diameters ranging from 200 mm to 2000 mm and depths up to 50 meters. Using advanced hydraulic rotary rigs, we execute piling operations efficiently across a wide range of soil conditions. Our fleet includes high-performance rotary drilling rigs capable of working in restricted headroom areas while delivering precision, stability, and high productivity.

Secant Pile Walls
02
Secant Pile Walls

Secant pile walls are constructed by intersecting reinforced concrete piles to form a continuous retaining structure. Primary piles are installed first, followed by reinforced secondary piles after sufficient curing. This technique provides excellent groundwater control and soil retention, making it ideal for deep excavations, basements, and foundation support in challenging ground conditions.

Manual Auger Method
03
Manual Auger Method

The Manual Auger Method is a reliable piling technique suitable for locations with restricted access or where low noise and vibration are essential. A tripod and manual winch system are used to drill boreholes using a helical auger. This method is commonly employed for pile diameters ranging from 250 mm to 1000 mm and offers an economical solution for smaller foundation projects.

TMR — Water Circulation
04
TMR — Water Circulation

Our Truck Mounted Rotary (TMR) rigs utilize continuous bentonite slurry circulation to stabilize boreholes during drilling. Auger drilling is performed to the required depth while bentonite slurry supports the excavation and carries excavated soil back to a recycling tank. This method ensures bore stability, efficient spoil removal, and high productivity, particularly in loose or soft soil strata.

DMC Pile Method
05
DMC Pile Method

The DMC Pile Method employs Mendola-type rigs combined with bentonite drilling fluid for safe and efficient pile construction. Surface soil is loosened using a bailer before drilling continues with a percussion chisel. Bentonite slurry stabilizes the bore while transporting excavated material to settling pits. Once the desired depth is achieved, the drilling tools are removed and the final depth is verified before reinforcement and concreting.

Tractor Mounted Rotary Rig
06
Tractor Mounted Rotary Rig

This method utilizes tractor-mounted rotary drilling rigs for fast and economical pile boring. Auger drilling is carried out to the required depth, with DMC rods added progressively to achieve deeper penetration through varying soil strata. It is particularly suitable for medium-depth foundation works and offers drilling capacities of up to 16 meters with excellent operational efficiency.

Pile Foundation Services in Gandhinagar – Capital City, Sector Layout & Education Hub Expertise

Gandhinagar is unlike any other city in your piling portfolio. As India's most successfully planned capital city, it was designed from scratch in the 1960s with a sector-based grid layout (Sectors 1-30), deliberate height restrictions to preserve its low-rise character, and a capital-city approval regime that governs every construction decision. This design has created a piling environment with its own rules — where older sectors (1-20) typically have G+4 buildings with 10-15 meter piles, while newer growth corridors (Sectors 26-30, Sargasan, Kudasan, Raysan) allow high-rises with 15-25 meter piles, and the country's densest education cluster (IIT Gandhinagar, PDPU, NID) plus the Bulk Drug Pharma City create specialized piling demand. If you are looking for pile foundation services in Gandhinagar, you need a contractor who understands these sector-specific dynamics. Jalmala Boring Works brings 60+ years of deep foundation expertise to every Gandhinagar pile foundation project we take on.

Older Sectors (1-20) – Low-Rise Piling with Height Restrictions

Gandhinagar's original sectors were designed with strict height restrictions — most buildings are G+4 or lower, preserving the capital city's low-rise character. Pile foundation in these sectors is typically 10-15 meters deep with 400-600 mm diameters, often using under-reamed piles for black cotton soil that underlies much of Gandhinagar. Despite being shallower, piling in these sectors requires careful coordination with capital-city approval authorities and adherence to urban design controls. Our low-rise piling in Gandhinagar's older sectors includes permit coordination and urban design compliance.

Newer Sectors (26-30) & Growth Corridors – High-Rise Piling

Gandhinagar's newer sectors (26-30) and the adjoining growth corridors of Sargasan, Kudasan, and Raysan are the city's high-rise growth zones. These corridors allow G+10 to G+15+ buildings requiring deeper piles (15-25 meters) with larger diameters (600-1,000 mm). The soil here transitions from black cotton over alluvial to weathered rock at variable depths, so pile design requires careful geotechnical interpretation. Our high-rise piling in Gandhinagar's newer sectors includes rock-socketed pile execution where weathered rock is encountered at shallow depth.

Government & Institutional Buildings – Capital City Character

As the capital of Gujarat, Gandhinagar hosts government buildings that require special piling expertise — the Gujarat Secretariat, Vidhan Sabha, Gujarat High Court, ministerial bungalows, and public administrative facilities. Government piling in Gandhinagar differs from private work in three ways: PQ documentation is more rigorous, tendered rates must comply with government schedules, and coordination with the capital-city urban development authority is mandatory. Our government building piling services in Gandhinagar include PQ documentation, tendered rate compliance, and coordination with capital-city authorities.

Education & Research Cluster – IIT, PDPU, NID

Gandhinagar hosts one of India's densest education and research clusters: IIT Gandhinagar (Indian Institute of Technology), PDPU (Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University), NID (National Institute of Design), Gujarat University affiliates, and dozens of research institutions. Campus piling requires vibration-sensitive execution near ongoing academic operations, compliance with campus-specific work-permit systems, and coordination with institutional facility managers. Our education campus piling in Gandhinagar includes these specialized requirements.

Infocity IT Parks & Bulk Drug Pharma City – Industrial Piling

Gandhinagar's industrial piling demand comes from two clusters. Infocity and Infocity-2 are the IT park hubs of the capital region, hosting tech companies, IT-enabled services, and mixed-use commercial developments that require 500-800 mm diameter piles at 15-25 meter depths with dense-site access coordination. Bulk Drug Pharma City is Gandhinagar's dedicated pharmaceutical cluster, with API production, formulation units, and chemical processing requiring heavy-machinery load design, clean-room vibration control, and industrial-grade documentation. Our IT park and pharma cluster piling in Gandhinagar covers both industrial segments.
