Pile Foundation
Bored Cast-in-Situ Piling Specialists
Jalmala Boring Works provides Pile Foundation and Deep Foundation Solutions using Bored Cast-in-Situ Piles for residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. With advanced Hydraulic Rotary Rigs, we construct piles from 300 mm to 1800 mm diameter and depths of up to 50 metres, delivering reliable load-bearing capacity across soft soil, hard rock, and high groundwater conditions.

Our Piling Methods
We deploy six proven techniques — selected based on soil profile, site constraints, and project requirements.

We specialize in bored piling with diameters ranging from 200 mm to 2000 mm and depths up to 50 meters. Using advanced hydraulic rotary rigs, we execute piling operations efficiently across a wide range of soil conditions. Our fleet includes high-performance rotary drilling rigs capable of working in restricted headroom areas while delivering precision, stability, and high productivity.

Secant pile walls are constructed by intersecting reinforced concrete piles to form a continuous retaining structure. Primary piles are installed first, followed by reinforced secondary piles after sufficient curing. This technique provides excellent groundwater control and soil retention, making it ideal for deep excavations, basements, and foundation support in challenging ground conditions.

The Manual Auger Method is a reliable piling technique suitable for locations with restricted access or where low noise and vibration are essential. A tripod and manual winch system are used to drill boreholes using a helical auger. This method is commonly employed for pile diameters ranging from 250 mm to 1000 mm and offers an economical solution for smaller foundation projects.

Our Truck Mounted Rotary (TMR) rigs utilize continuous bentonite slurry circulation to stabilize boreholes during drilling. Auger drilling is performed to the required depth while bentonite slurry supports the excavation and carries excavated soil back to a recycling tank. This method ensures bore stability, efficient spoil removal, and high productivity, particularly in loose or soft soil strata.

The DMC Pile Method employs Mendola-type rigs combined with bentonite drilling fluid for safe and efficient pile construction. Surface soil is loosened using a bailer before drilling continues with a percussion chisel. Bentonite slurry stabilizes the bore while transporting excavated material to settling pits. Once the desired depth is achieved, the drilling tools are removed and the final depth is verified before reinforcement and concreting.

This method utilizes tractor-mounted rotary drilling rigs for fast and economical pile boring. Auger drilling is carried out to the required depth, with DMC rods added progressively to achieve deeper penetration through varying soil strata. It is particularly suitable for medium-depth foundation works and offers drilling capacities of up to 16 meters with excellent operational efficiency.

Pile Foundation Services in Jamnagar – Reliance Refinery, Brass Industry & Marine National Park Expertise
Jamnagar is not a general Saurashtra coastal city. It hosts the Reliance Jamnagar Refinery — the world's largest single-site refinery complex at ~1.4 million barrels per day — plus India's largest brass parts cluster (producing ~90% of India's brass components), and borders the Gulf of Kutch Marine National Park — India's first marine national park, with strict environmental constraints on coastal construction. Add Saurashtra coastal geology, cyclone exposure, and Seismic Zone III classification, and Jamnagar requires piling expertise that is genuinely distinct. If you are looking for pile foundation services in Jamnagar, you need a contractor who understands refinery, brass industry, and marine piling. Jalmala Boring Works brings 60+ years of deep foundation expertise to every Jamnagar pile foundation project we take on.
Reliance Jamnagar Refinery – World's Largest Single-Site Refinery
The Reliance Jamnagar Refinery is the world's largest single-site refinery complex at approximately 1.4 million barrels per day. It requires refinery-grade piling across the full facility: process unit foundations (distillation columns, catalytic crackers, hydrocrackers), storage tank foundations (crude, product, and LPG tanks up to 100,000+ m³ capacity), marine terminal piling (crude receiving and product export at Sikka Port), cooling tower foundations, and utility infrastructure. All refinery piling requires: Zone III seismic design per IS 1893; corrosion-protected reinforcement (chloride-rich coastal environment); oil field HSE compliance with OSEP familiarity; refinery-grade documentation (ITPs, third-party material testing, full quality records); and often cathodic protection for critical infrastructure. Our Jamnagar refinery piling covers the full range of refinery infrastructure.
Brass Parts Cluster – India's Largest
Jamnagar hosts India's largest brass parts cluster — thousands of units producing approximately 90% of India's brass components, from brass fittings and valves to decorative pieces and industrial parts. The cluster is concentrated in Jamnagar GIDC and surrounding industrial belt. Brass industry piling requirements: precision machine foundations for CNC and machining equipment; heavy press foundations for stamping and forming; vibration isolation for precision equipment; casting and melting floor foundations with thermal isolation; and warehouse foundations. Most brass industry piling involves smaller footprint facilities (500-5,000 sqm) with specific equipment loads — different from refinery or marine piling. Our Jamnagar brass industry piling covers the full range of brass manufacturing segments.
Gulf of Kutch Marine National Park – Environmental Constraints
The Gulf of Kutch Marine National Park is India's first marine national park, covering ~270 sq km of marine habitat, coral reefs, and mangrove ecosystems. Any piling work near the park boundary (typically within 2-5 km) requires: environmental clearance from MoEFCC; marine ecology impact assessment; coordination with Gujarat Forest Department (Marine National Park authority); specific construction protocols to minimize turbidity, noise, and ecological disturbance; and post-construction monitoring for marine ecology recovery. The process adds 8-12 weeks to standard project timelines but is manageable with experienced contractors. Contractors unfamiliar with Marine National Park protocols often fail environmental clearance — causing significant delays or project cancellation. Our Marine National Park boundary piling includes environmental clearance support as part of standard scope.
Sikka Port, Moti Khavdi & Jamnagar GIDC Coverage
Beyond the refinery and brass cluster, Jamnagar's industrial belt extends across several zones. Sikka Port is the marine terminal serving Reliance and other users — marine piling with Gulf of Kutch conditions. Moti Khavdi is the industrial area adjacent to Reliance Refinery with downstream petrochemical and industrial units. Jamnagar GIDC hosts the brass cluster and mixed industrial units. Dhrol, Kalavad, and Lalpur are surrounding towns with industrial and residential piling. All of these share Saurashtra coastal geology with Seismic Zone III design and cyclone-resistant detailing. Our Jamnagar industrial belt piling covers all these locations.
Serving Jamnagar, Sikka, Moti Khavdi, Dhrol, Kalavad & All of Jamnagar District
We serve the entire Jamnagar district — including pile foundation projects in Jamnagar, Sikka, Moti Khavdi, Reliance Refinery area, Jamnagar GIDC, Dhrol, Kalavad, Lalpur, and surrounding areas. Our site visit commitment is 24-48 hours across all Jamnagar locations, with rig mobilization typically 12-18 working days from contract award (Jamnagar is ~320 km from our Sarkhej headquarters via Rajkot). For fast-track refinery or industrial projects with pre-approved permits, mobilization can be accelerated to 10-14 working days. Marine projects near the Marine National Park add 4-6 weeks for environmental clearance if not already secured. Whether your project is a Reliance refinery auxiliary structure, a brass parts plant, a Sikka Port marine terminal, or a Moti Khavdi industrial facility, our Jamnagar piling contractor team is ready to mobilize.
