Pile Foundation
Bored Cast-in-Situ Piling Specialists
Jalmala Boring Works provides Pile Foundation and Deep Foundation Solutions using Bored Cast-in-Situ Piles for residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. With advanced Hydraulic Rotary Rigs, we construct piles from 300 mm to 1800 mm diameter and depths of up to 50 metres, delivering reliable load-bearing capacity across soft soil, hard rock, and high groundwater conditions.

Our Piling Methods
We deploy six proven techniques — selected based on soil profile, site constraints, and project requirements.

We specialize in bored piling with diameters ranging from 200 mm to 2000 mm and depths up to 50 meters. Using advanced hydraulic rotary rigs, we execute piling operations efficiently across a wide range of soil conditions. Our fleet includes high-performance rotary drilling rigs capable of working in restricted headroom areas while delivering precision, stability, and high productivity.

Secant pile walls are constructed by intersecting reinforced concrete piles to form a continuous retaining structure. Primary piles are installed first, followed by reinforced secondary piles after sufficient curing. This technique provides excellent groundwater control and soil retention, making it ideal for deep excavations, basements, and foundation support in challenging ground conditions.

The Manual Auger Method is a reliable piling technique suitable for locations with restricted access or where low noise and vibration are essential. A tripod and manual winch system are used to drill boreholes using a helical auger. This method is commonly employed for pile diameters ranging from 250 mm to 1000 mm and offers an economical solution for smaller foundation projects.

Our Truck Mounted Rotary (TMR) rigs utilize continuous bentonite slurry circulation to stabilize boreholes during drilling. Auger drilling is performed to the required depth while bentonite slurry supports the excavation and carries excavated soil back to a recycling tank. This method ensures bore stability, efficient spoil removal, and high productivity, particularly in loose or soft soil strata.

The DMC Pile Method employs Mendola-type rigs combined with bentonite drilling fluid for safe and efficient pile construction. Surface soil is loosened using a bailer before drilling continues with a percussion chisel. Bentonite slurry stabilizes the bore while transporting excavated material to settling pits. Once the desired depth is achieved, the drilling tools are removed and the final depth is verified before reinforcement and concreting.

This method utilizes tractor-mounted rotary drilling rigs for fast and economical pile boring. Auger drilling is carried out to the required depth, with DMC rods added progressively to achieve deeper penetration through varying soil strata. It is particularly suitable for medium-depth foundation works and offers drilling capacities of up to 16 meters with excellent operational efficiency.

Pile Foundation Services in Mehsana – ONGC Oil Field, Dairy & North Gujarat Weathered Granite Expertise
Mehsana is not a generic industrial city. It is India's onshore oil and gas heartland — home to the ONGC Mehsana Asset, one of the largest onshore oil field operations in the country — and India's dairy capital (Dudhsagar Dairy, part of the Amul federation). Add the North Gujarat weathered granite profile at variable depth (3-15 meters, requiring mixed rock-socketed and friction pile design within the same project) and Seismic Zone III classification, and Mehsana requires piling expertise that is genuinely distinct from every other Gujarat city. If you are looking for pile foundation services in Mehsana, you need a contractor who understands oil field, dairy, and North Gujarat geology. Jalmala Boring Works brings 60+ years of deep foundation expertise to every Mehsana pile foundation project we take on.
ONGC Mehsana Asset – Oil Field Infrastructure Piling
The ONGC Mehsana Asset is one of India's largest onshore oil and gas production operations, covering oil fields across Mehsana, Banaskantha, and Gandhinagar districts. Hundreds of wells produce crude oil and natural gas, processed through Gas Gathering Stations (GGS) and gas compression facilities. Oil field piling is a specialized discipline: wellhead foundations require extremely rigid, low-settlement pile groups (typically <5 mm differential settlement across the wellhead base); GGS foundations require vibration isolation for gas compression equipment; gas processing facilities require Zone III seismic design plus oil field safety protocols; and produced water treatment facilities require chemical-resistant concrete for the water chemistry. ONGC vendor registration is required for direct ONGC projects — a multi-week process that non-registered contractors face. Our ONGC Mehsana Asset piling covers the full range of oil field infrastructure.
Dudhsagar Dairy & Amul Federation – Cold Chain Piling
Dudhsagar Dairy (Mehsana District Co-operative Milk Producers' Union) is one of India's largest dairy co-operatives and part of the Amul federation. It operates major milk processing facilities across Mehsana, Banas (Palanpur), and surrounding districts. Dairy piling differs from general industrial in three ways: cold-chain temperature requirements (milk processing and cold storage facilities require specific thermal insulation affecting foundation depth); hygiene and wash-down requirements (dairy floors require very strict floor flatness FF50+ and slope tolerances for drainage); and heavy racking loads (packaged milk and dairy product storage requires high-capacity racking foundations). Contractors without dairy industry experience often under-design floor flatness tolerances, causing long-term operational issues. Our Dudhsagar and Banas dairy piling handles the full range of dairy infrastructure requirements.
North Gujarat Weathered Granite – Variable Depth Mixed Strata
North Gujarat's geology is uniquely different from every other Gujarat region. Weathered granite at variable depth (3-15 meters) means some plots hit rock at 4 meters, adjacent plots at 12 meters — often within the same project site. Pile design must be site-specific: rock-socketed piles where rock is shallow (relying on socket friction + end bearing), friction piles where rock is deeper (relying on soil friction). Some plots have both profiles within the same foundation — a mixed strata condition that generic contractors often mishandle by applying a single pile type across the entire site. The weathered granite itself has variable strength (30-150 MPa) requiring site-specific UCS testing. Our North Gujarat weathered granite piling is calibrated to these mixed conditions.
Mehsana-GIDC, Kadi, Visnagar, Unjha, Sidhpur – Industrial Belt Coverage
Mehsana's industrial activity extends far beyond the oil field and dairy sectors. Mehsana-GIDC hosts mixed industrial units (engineering, packaging, food processing). Kadi has an industrial estate with textile and engineering units. Visnagar is a dairy and education hub. Unjha hosts Asia's largest cumin and fennel market (post-harvest processing and storage facilities). Sidhpur has textile and industrial units. All of these share North Gujarat's weathered granite geology, requiring site-specific geotechnical investigation and mixed rock-socketed/friction pile design. Our North Gujarat industrial belt piling covers all of these locations.
Modhera Solar Park & Renewable Energy
Modhera (near Mehsana) hosts one of India's emerging solar parks and the historic Modhera Sun Temple — creating demand for both solar park piling (panel support structures, inverter foundations, substations) and heritage-adjacent construction (with specific constraints for projects near protected monuments). Solar piling requires high-volume rapid execution (500-3,000 piles per park, 300-500 mm diameter) at cost-competitive rates, while heritage-adjacent projects require vibration-sensitive execution near protected structures. Our Modhera solar and heritage piling covers both scenarios.
