How We Work

Our Piling Methods

We deploy six proven techniques — selected based on soil profile, site constraints, and project requirements.

Hydraulic Rig
01
Hydraulic Rig

We specialize in bored piling with diameters ranging from 200 mm to 2000 mm and depths up to 50 meters. Using advanced hydraulic rotary rigs, we execute piling operations efficiently across a wide range of soil conditions. Our fleet includes high-performance rotary drilling rigs capable of working in restricted headroom areas while delivering precision, stability, and high productivity.

Secant Pile Walls
02
Secant Pile Walls

Secant pile walls are constructed by intersecting reinforced concrete piles to form a continuous retaining structure. Primary piles are installed first, followed by reinforced secondary piles after sufficient curing. This technique provides excellent groundwater control and soil retention, making it ideal for deep excavations, basements, and foundation support in challenging ground conditions.

Manual Auger Method
03
Manual Auger Method

The Manual Auger Method is a reliable piling technique suitable for locations with restricted access or where low noise and vibration are essential. A tripod and manual winch system are used to drill boreholes using a helical auger. This method is commonly employed for pile diameters ranging from 250 mm to 1000 mm and offers an economical solution for smaller foundation projects.

TMR — Water Circulation
04
TMR — Water Circulation

Our Truck Mounted Rotary (TMR) rigs utilize continuous bentonite slurry circulation to stabilize boreholes during drilling. Auger drilling is performed to the required depth while bentonite slurry supports the excavation and carries excavated soil back to a recycling tank. This method ensures bore stability, efficient spoil removal, and high productivity, particularly in loose or soft soil strata.

DMC Pile Method
05
DMC Pile Method

The DMC Pile Method employs Mendola-type rigs combined with bentonite drilling fluid for safe and efficient pile construction. Surface soil is loosened using a bailer before drilling continues with a percussion chisel. Bentonite slurry stabilizes the bore while transporting excavated material to settling pits. Once the desired depth is achieved, the drilling tools are removed and the final depth is verified before reinforcement and concreting.

Tractor Mounted Rotary Rig
06
Tractor Mounted Rotary Rig

This method utilizes tractor-mounted rotary drilling rigs for fast and economical pile boring. Auger drilling is carried out to the required depth, with DMC rods added progressively to achieve deeper penetration through varying soil strata. It is particularly suitable for medium-depth foundation works and offers drilling capacities of up to 16 meters with excellent operational efficiency.

Pile Foundation Services in Rajkot – Rock-Socketed Piling in Saurashtra Basalt

Rajkot is not the same piling environment as Ahmedabad, Surat, or Vadodara. The city sits on the Saurashtra peninsula, where Deccan trap basalt is often encountered at just 3-8 meters below ground — much shallower than the 20-30+ meter soil profiles of other Gujarat cities. This single geological fact changes almost everything about piling in Rajkot: piles are shorter but require rock-socketing, chiselling time replaces boring time, and equipment selection is driven by rock handling capability rather than depth. Add seismic zone III (Rajkot is one zone higher than Ahmedabad) and the engineering and auto-component cluster in the surrounding GIDCs, and you have a piling market that genuinely needs specialized local expertise. If you are looking for pile foundation services in Rajkot, this is what makes the city different. Jalmala Boring Works brings 60+ years of deep foundation expertise — including extensive rock- socketed piling experience — to every Rajkot pile foundation project we take on.

Saurashtra Basalt — The Defining Geology of Rajkot

Rajkot's Deccan trap basalt was formed by volcanic activity millions of years ago and now lies close to the surface in most of the city and surrounding areas. In practice, this means: rock encountered at 3-8 meters in most Rajkot sites (versus 20-30+ meters in central Gujarat); rock-socketed piles are the standard approach rather than friction piling; chiselling rigs are essential equipment, not specialized attachments; and socket design (socket length, socket diameter, rock quality) becomes a critical design variable. Our rock-socketed piling team in Rajkot uses heavy chiselling rigs, controlled socket excavation, and load testing to confirm capacity per IS 2911.

Engineering & Auto-Component GIDCs — Shapar-Veraval, Metoda, Lodhika, Aji

Rajkot is one of India's largest clusters of engineering and auto-component manufacturing. The city's industrial estates — Shapar-Veraval GIDC (castings, forgings, CNC machining), Metoda GIDC (bearings, pumps, valve manufacturing), Lodhika GIDC (machining and fabrication), and Aji GIDC (mixed manufacturing) — require industrial-grade piling for heavy machinery loads, vibration-sensitive operations, and expansion projects. Dense estate layouts limit rig access, requiring compact chiselling rigs and careful coordination with adjacent operating units. Our engineering GIDC piling services in Rajkot combine heavy-load design, compact equipment, and vibration-conscious execution.

High-Rise Residential — Kalawad Road, University Road, 150 Feet Ring Road, Nana Mava

Rajkot's residential growth is centered in Kalawad Road and University Road (premium high-rise corridors), 150 Feet Ring Road and Nana Mava (mixed residential-commercial), and Raiya Road (emerging residential). High-rise projects here typically require 500-1,000 mm diameter rock-socketed piles at 10-18 meter depths — shorter than comparable buildings in Ahmedabad because rock socketing replaces deep soil penetration. Seismic zone III requirements add lateral load and ductility design considerations that make reinforcement ratios higher than zone II cities. Our high-rise piling in Rajkot includes seismic zone III design compliance, rock-socketed pile execution, and lateral load testing where specified.

Seismic Zone III — Higher Standards Than Ahmedabad

Rajkot falls in Seismic Zone III per IS 1893, while Ahmedabad is in Zone II. This one-zone difference has real engineering consequences: higher design lateral loads (typically 50-100% higher), higher pile reinforcement ratios, more demanding ductile detailing, and more frequent lateral load testing. For high-rise projects in Rajkot, contractors who only know zone II practice will under-reinforce or under-test — creating long-term structural risk. Our Rajkot piling team designs and executes with zone III compliance built into every project, with documentation to support regulatory approvals.

Aji River Dam and Water Table Variation

The Aji river runs through northern Rajkot and the Aji dam sits upstream, affecting water tables in low-lying areas and along the river corridor. Water table variation is seasonal — monsoon recharge in July-September raises levels by 2-4 meters in affected areas, creating both short-term drilling challenges and long-term design considerations. Piling near the Aji river corridor requires seasonal water table design, robust casing during monsoon, and settlement monitoring past the first monsoon cycle. Our Rajkot piling services include water table monitoring and seasonal design for projects in flood-prone zones.

Serving All of Rajkot – From Kalawad Road to Shapar-Veraval

We serve the entire Rajkot region — including pile foundation projects in Kalawad Road, University Road, 150 Feet Ring Road, Nana Mava, Raiya Road, Shapar-Veraval GIDC, Metoda GIDC, Lodhika GIDC, and Aji GIDC. Our site visit commitment is 24-48 hours across all Rajkot localities, with rig mobilization typically 12-18 working days from contract award (slightly longer than other Gujarat cities because specialized rock-socketed rigs must be mobilized). For fast-track industrial projects in Shapar-Veraval or Metoda GIDC, mobilization can be accelerated to 10-14 working days. Whether your project is an engineering unit expansion in Shapar-Veraval, a high-rise residential tower in Kalawad Road, a factory retrofit in Aji GIDC, or infrastructure work near the Aji dam corridor, our pile foundation contractor team in Rajkot is ready to mobilize.
