How We Work

Our Piling Methods

We deploy six proven techniques — selected based on soil profile, site constraints, and project requirements.

Hydraulic Rig
01
Hydraulic Rig

We specialize in bored piling with diameters ranging from 200 mm to 2000 mm and depths up to 50 meters. Using advanced hydraulic rotary rigs, we execute piling operations efficiently across a wide range of soil conditions. Our fleet includes high-performance rotary drilling rigs capable of working in restricted headroom areas while delivering precision, stability, and high productivity.

Secant Pile Walls
02
Secant Pile Walls

Secant pile walls are constructed by intersecting reinforced concrete piles to form a continuous retaining structure. Primary piles are installed first, followed by reinforced secondary piles after sufficient curing. This technique provides excellent groundwater control and soil retention, making it ideal for deep excavations, basements, and foundation support in challenging ground conditions.

Manual Auger Method
03
Manual Auger Method

The Manual Auger Method is a reliable piling technique suitable for locations with restricted access or where low noise and vibration are essential. A tripod and manual winch system are used to drill boreholes using a helical auger. This method is commonly employed for pile diameters ranging from 250 mm to 1000 mm and offers an economical solution for smaller foundation projects.

TMR — Water Circulation
04
TMR — Water Circulation

Our Truck Mounted Rotary (TMR) rigs utilize continuous bentonite slurry circulation to stabilize boreholes during drilling. Auger drilling is performed to the required depth while bentonite slurry supports the excavation and carries excavated soil back to a recycling tank. This method ensures bore stability, efficient spoil removal, and high productivity, particularly in loose or soft soil strata.

DMC Pile Method
05
DMC Pile Method

The DMC Pile Method employs Mendola-type rigs combined with bentonite drilling fluid for safe and efficient pile construction. Surface soil is loosened using a bailer before drilling continues with a percussion chisel. Bentonite slurry stabilizes the bore while transporting excavated material to settling pits. Once the desired depth is achieved, the drilling tools are removed and the final depth is verified before reinforcement and concreting.

Tractor Mounted Rotary Rig
06
Tractor Mounted Rotary Rig

This method utilizes tractor-mounted rotary drilling rigs for fast and economical pile boring. Auger drilling is carried out to the required depth, with DMC rods added progressively to achieve deeper penetration through varying soil strata. It is particularly suitable for medium-depth foundation works and offers drilling capacities of up to 16 meters with excellent operational efficiency.

Pile Foundation Services in Surat – Diamond Bourse, Textile Hub & High-Rise Expertise

Surat is the densest construction market in Gujarat — and in some ways, all of India. The city hosts the Surat Diamond Bourse (the world's largest office building), India's largest textile industry cluster, and one of the fastest-growing high-rise residential corridors in western India. Piling in Surat is not the same as piling in Ahmedabad. The Tapi river floodplain runs through the city, coastal salinity affects the outer belt from Hazira to Dumas, and urban sites in Vesu, Pal, and Adajan are typically tighter than comparable Ahmedabad projects. If you are looking for pile foundation services in Surat, you need a contractor who understands the city's three distinctive construction markets. Jalmala Boring Works brings 60+ years of deep foundation expertise to every Surat pile foundation project we take on.

Diamond Bourse-Scale Commercial Piling in Surat

The Surat Diamond Bourse — the world's largest office building at 6.6 million sq ft — set a new benchmark for commercial piling in the city. Since its construction, commercial development in Surat has trended upward in scale, with new office towers, mixed-use developments, and integrated commercial complexes frequently requiring 800–1,500 mm diameter piles at 25–40 meter depths, deep basement diaphragm walls, and integrated tower crane foundation planning. Our commercial piling team in Surat has the SANY rig fleet, diaphragm wall capability, and load testing protocols these projects demand.

Textile Industry Piling – Pandesara and Sachin GIDC

Surat's textile industry drives massive industrial construction demand in Pandesara GIDC and Sachin GIDC. Textile mills, processing units, dyeing plants, and warehouses require heavy-load pile foundations for machinery vibration, material storage loads, and the fast-track delivery timelines that textile owners demand. Sites in these estates are often dense, with limited rig access — requiring compact rigs and careful coordination with adjacent operating units. Our industrial piling services in Pandesara and Sachin GIDC include the fast mobilization, compact rig selection, and industrial load design that these projects need.

High-Rise Residential Piling – Vesu, Pal, Adajan & Piplod

Surat's premium residential corridors — Vesu, Pal, Adajan, Piplod, and City Light — are among the densest high-rise corridors in Gujarat. Residential towers here typically require 500–1,000 mm diameter piles at 15–30 meter depths, often in sites with limited rig access and adjacent-building constraints that are tighter than comparable Ahmedabad projects. Tapi floodplain soil extends into parts of these corridors, requiring careful water table management. Our high-rise residential piling in Surat includes the compact rigs, tight-site coordination, and floodplain soil handling that these premium corridor projects need.

Diamond Industry Piling – Varachha and Katargam

Surat's diamond polishing industry is concentrated in Varachha and Katargam — dense neighborhoods where commercial and residential construction mixes tightly. Piling projects here often involve mid-rise commercial buildings (diamond offices, trading houses, cooperative banks) and residential towers, with site access constrained by narrow streets and adjacent structures. Our piling team in Varachha and Katargam is experienced with the compact equipment and vibration-sensitive coordination these dense neighborhoods require.

Tapi Floodplain and Coastal Salinity

Surat's two biggest soil challenges are the Tapi river floodplain and the coastal salinity belt in outer Surat (Hazira, Dumas). The Tapi floodplain cuts through central Surat with high water tables and looser alluvial deposits than inland Ahmedabad — requiring casing, careful bentonite management, and often deeper pile embedment for competent strata. The coastal belt from Hazira to Dumas has saline soil and groundwater that can corrode reinforcement and reduce concrete durability — requiring IS 456 exposure classification for chloride and sulfate attack, enhanced cover, and often sulfate-resisting cement. Our Surat piling services address both conditions with disciplined design and execution.
