How We Work

Our Piling Methods

We deploy six proven techniques — selected based on soil profile, site constraints, and project requirements.

Hydraulic Rig
01
Hydraulic Rig

We specialize in bored piling with diameters ranging from 200 mm to 2000 mm and depths up to 50 meters. Using advanced hydraulic rotary rigs, we execute piling operations efficiently across a wide range of soil conditions. Our fleet includes high-performance rotary drilling rigs capable of working in restricted headroom areas while delivering precision, stability, and high productivity.

Secant Pile Walls
02
Secant Pile Walls

Secant pile walls are constructed by intersecting reinforced concrete piles to form a continuous retaining structure. Primary piles are installed first, followed by reinforced secondary piles after sufficient curing. This technique provides excellent groundwater control and soil retention, making it ideal for deep excavations, basements, and foundation support in challenging ground conditions.

Manual Auger Method
03
Manual Auger Method

The Manual Auger Method is a reliable piling technique suitable for locations with restricted access or where low noise and vibration are essential. A tripod and manual winch system are used to drill boreholes using a helical auger. This method is commonly employed for pile diameters ranging from 250 mm to 1000 mm and offers an economical solution for smaller foundation projects.

TMR — Water Circulation
04
TMR — Water Circulation

Our Truck Mounted Rotary (TMR) rigs utilize continuous bentonite slurry circulation to stabilize boreholes during drilling. Auger drilling is performed to the required depth while bentonite slurry supports the excavation and carries excavated soil back to a recycling tank. This method ensures bore stability, efficient spoil removal, and high productivity, particularly in loose or soft soil strata.

DMC Pile Method
05
DMC Pile Method

The DMC Pile Method employs Mendola-type rigs combined with bentonite drilling fluid for safe and efficient pile construction. Surface soil is loosened using a bailer before drilling continues with a percussion chisel. Bentonite slurry stabilizes the bore while transporting excavated material to settling pits. Once the desired depth is achieved, the drilling tools are removed and the final depth is verified before reinforcement and concreting.

Tractor Mounted Rotary Rig
06
Tractor Mounted Rotary Rig

This method utilizes tractor-mounted rotary drilling rigs for fast and economical pile boring. Auger drilling is carried out to the required depth, with DMC rods added progressively to achieve deeper penetration through varying soil strata. It is particularly suitable for medium-depth foundation works and offers drilling capacities of up to 16 meters with excellent operational efficiency.

Pile Foundation Services in Vadodara – Koyali Refinery, GIDC & DMIC Corridor Expertise

Vadodara — traditionally known as Baroda — is Gujarat's industrial heartland. It hosts India's largest oil refinery at Koyali (Indian Oil Corporation), the Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals (GSFC) complex, major petrochemical and chemical plants in Nandesari GIDC, and the engineering ecosystem around Makarpura GIDC and L&T Knowledge City. The city sits on the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC), is bisected by the Vishwamitri river, and connects to the Vadodara-Mumbai Expressway and Statue of Unity corridor. Piling in Vadodara is not the same as piling in Ahmedabad or Surat — the industrial scale, the aggressive soil chemistry, and the floodplain dynamics all require specialized expertise. If you are looking for pile foundation services in Vadodara, you need a contractor who understands these four distinctive challenges. Jalmala Boring Works brings 60+ years of deep foundation expertise to every Vadodara pile foundation project we take on.

Koyali Refinery & Petrochemical Corridor

The Koyali Refinery — IOCL's largest in India — anchors a petrochemical and chemical cluster that includes GSFC, Deepak Nitrite, Gujarat Fluorochemicals, and dozens of smaller processing units across Nandesari, Koyali, and the surrounding belt. Piling in this corridor requires three things beyond standard industrial work: corrosion protection for sulfur-rich and aggressive soil conditions (per IS 456 exposure classification with enhanced cover and often sulfate-resisting cement), refinery-grade documentation (ITPs, third-party material testing, and detailed quality records for procurement audits), and industrial safety compliance (permit-to-work systems, gas testing protocols, and coordination with ongoing plant operations). Our refinery and petrochemical piling team in Vadodara has experience with these requirements and can mobilize under appropriate contractor arrangements.

Makarpura, Nandesari, Savli, Halol & Waghodia GIDC

Vadodara's industrial estates each have their own character. Makarpura GIDC is the city's oldest estate — engineering, machinery, and heavy manufacturing units packed into dense layouts that require compact rigs and careful vibration management near operating machinery. Nandesari GIDC is a chemical estate requiring corrosion-protected piling for aggressive effluent-affected soil. Savli GIDC and Halol GIDC are newer satellite estates hosting auto-component and manufacturing plants with better site access but tighter project timelines. Waghodia GIDC rounds out the chemical cluster. Our GIDC industrial piling services in Vadodara are calibrated for the specific conditions of each estate.

High-Rise Residential – Alkapuri, Gotri, Sevasi, Sama & Vasna Road

Vadodara's residential growth is centered in Alkapuri (premium commercial and residential), Gotri and Sevasi (new high-rise corridors), Sama (mid-rise residential), and Vasna Road and Old Padra Road (established residential with redevelopment). High-rise projects in these corridors typically require 500-1,000 mm diameter piles at 15-30 meter depths, with the Vishwamitri floodplain affecting soil conditions in Sevasi and Sama particularly. Our high-rise residential piling in Vadodara includes the floodplain soil handling and dense-site coordination these premium corridors require.

Vishwamitri Floodplain – Seasonal Water Table Challenge

The Vishwamitri river runs through central Vadodara and creates a seasonal floodplain that is fundamentally different from Surat's perennial Tapi floodplain. The Vishwamitri is dry for most of the year but subject to significant flooding during the monsoon (July-September) — the water table in nearby areas can rise by 3-5 meters within weeks. This creates three piling challenges: pile design must account for both dry-season and monsoon water tables, monsoon-season piling requires more robust casing and bentonite management, and settlement monitoring must extend past the first monsoon cycle. Our Vishwamitri floodplain piling expertise in Vadodara includes seasonal water table design and construction scheduling to minimize monsoon risk.

DMIC Corridor & Statue of Unity Route Infrastructure

Vadodara sits at a critical node on the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC), the Vadodara-Mumbai Expressway, and the Statue of Unity corridor. These mega infrastructure projects drive demand for piling on bridges, flyovers, industrial parks, and logistics hubs across the Vadodara region. Infrastructure piling requires fast mobilization, multiple-rig deployment across linear project sites, and industrial-grade documentation. Our DMIC corridor and infrastructure piling services in Vadodara can be mobilized under relevant contractor arrangements for projects along these corridors.
