How We Work

Our Piling Methods

We deploy six proven techniques — selected based on soil profile, site constraints, and project requirements.

Hydraulic Rig
01
Hydraulic Rig

We specialize in bored piling with diameters ranging from 200 mm to 2000 mm and depths up to 50 meters. Using advanced hydraulic rotary rigs, we execute piling operations efficiently across a wide range of soil conditions. Our fleet includes high-performance rotary drilling rigs capable of working in restricted headroom areas while delivering precision, stability, and high productivity.

Secant Pile Walls
02
Secant Pile Walls

Secant pile walls are constructed by intersecting reinforced concrete piles to form a continuous retaining structure. Primary piles are installed first, followed by reinforced secondary piles after sufficient curing. This technique provides excellent groundwater control and soil retention, making it ideal for deep excavations, basements, and foundation support in challenging ground conditions.

Manual Auger Method
03
Manual Auger Method

The Manual Auger Method is a reliable piling technique suitable for locations with restricted access or where low noise and vibration are essential. A tripod and manual winch system are used to drill boreholes using a helical auger. This method is commonly employed for pile diameters ranging from 250 mm to 1000 mm and offers an economical solution for smaller foundation projects.

TMR — Water Circulation
04
TMR — Water Circulation

Our Truck Mounted Rotary (TMR) rigs utilize continuous bentonite slurry circulation to stabilize boreholes during drilling. Auger drilling is performed to the required depth while bentonite slurry supports the excavation and carries excavated soil back to a recycling tank. This method ensures bore stability, efficient spoil removal, and high productivity, particularly in loose or soft soil strata.

DMC Pile Method
05
DMC Pile Method

The DMC Pile Method employs Mendola-type rigs combined with bentonite drilling fluid for safe and efficient pile construction. Surface soil is loosened using a bailer before drilling continues with a percussion chisel. Bentonite slurry stabilizes the bore while transporting excavated material to settling pits. Once the desired depth is achieved, the drilling tools are removed and the final depth is verified before reinforcement and concreting.

Tractor Mounted Rotary Rig
06
Tractor Mounted Rotary Rig

This method utilizes tractor-mounted rotary drilling rigs for fast and economical pile boring. Auger drilling is carried out to the required depth, with DMC rods added progressively to achieve deeper penetration through varying soil strata. It is particularly suitable for medium-depth foundation works and offers drilling capacities of up to 16 meters with excellent operational efficiency.

Jalmala Boring Works – Ahmedabad Piling Company, Team & Operations

Most construction company websites only show you services and contact forms. This page is different — it is about the Ahmedabad piling company itself: who runs it, where the equipment is based, what empanelments we hold, what careers we offer, and what you see when you walk into our Sarkhej office. If you are a developer considering a long-term partnership, a consultant evaluating vendors, or a candidate looking for a piling career in Ahmedabad, this is the page for you.

The Ahmedabad Team – 150+ People, One Focus

Jalmala Boring Works employs 150+ people across its Ahmedabad headquarters and pan-India projects. The Ahmedabad team includes three generations of the Memon family actively involved in daily operations, an engineering and design group that reviews soil reports and produces method statements, project managers and site supervisors assigned per project, 25+ rig operators and skilled technicians, workshop and maintenance staff who keep our SANY rigs operational, and administrative and support personnel. The average tenure across the team is 6+ years — unusual for the construction industry, and the reason our piling company in Ahmedabad delivers consistent quality across projects.

The Sarkhej Headquarters and Yard

Our headquarters is at Dholka Road, near Nariampura Village, Narimanpura, Sarkhej — 15 minutes from SG Highway, 20 minutes from Ahmedabad's central business district, and within 30–60 minutes of every major Ahmedabad construction corridor (Bopal, Prahladnagar, Science City, GIFT City, Satellite, Vastrapur, Bodakdev). The site includes our office building, equipment yard, workshop for rig maintenance, and inventory storage for consumables like bentonite and reinforcement accessories. Developers and consultants are welcome to visit by appointment — call +91 93745 45415 to schedule.

The Ahmedabad Equipment Fleet

The equipment yard stations our SANY hydraulic piling rigs for pile diameters from 450 mm to 1,500 mm, chiselling rigs for rock conditions, bentonite slurry plants with automated density and viscosity monitoring, reinforcement cage fabrication equipment, and ancillary support vehicles. Additional equipment is deployed to project sites across Gujarat and other states as needed. Because we own the equipment (rather than subcontracting rigs), our Ahmedabad piling operations have full control over equipment condition, maintenance schedules, and deployment timelines — a critical difference from contractors who rely on rented or subcontracted rigs.

AMC, AUDA and GIDC Empanelment

Ahmedabad piling work falls under three different permit authorities — AMC (Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation) for the core city, AUDA (Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority) for peripheral areas, and GIDC (Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation) for industrial estates. Jalmala Boring Works is registered with all three authorities for piling work. Registration and empanelment details are available on request for project owners and developers who need confirmation before awarding contracts. If your project is in GIFT City, we coordinate separately with the GIFT City Development Authority as well.

Careers at Jalmala Boring Works Ahmedabad

Jalmala Boring Works periodically hires for civil engineers (site engineering, project management), diploma holders in civil engineering (site supervision, quality control), rig operators (SANY hydraulic rigs, chiselling rigs), mechanics and technicians (equipment maintenance), and administrative staff (accounts, HR, procurement). We also offer structured apprenticeships for final-year diploma students seeking hands-on piling experience. Resumes can be sent to jalmala.pile@gmail.com with the role in the subject line. Working at Jalmala Boring Works means exposure to real projects from day one — our engineers are on site within weeks of joining, not stuck in back-office roles for years. For a broader overview of the family and business history, see our About page.

Family, Community, and 60+ Years in Ahmedabad

Jalmala Boring Works was founded in Ahmedabad in 1962 and has operated continuously from the same city ever since — through Gujarat's industrial expansion in the 1980s, the 2001 earthquake reconstruction, and Ahmedabad's high-rise boom in the 2010s and 2020s. The current third-generation leadership is actively involved in day-to-day operations, not just as passive shareholders. This continuity is why Ahmedabad developers, industrialists, and consultants have worked with our piling company in Ahmedabad for 10–20 years across multiple projects — the same family, the same standards, the same people you can call directly when something matters.
