How We Work

Our Piling Methods

We deploy six proven techniques — selected based on soil profile, site constraints, and project requirements.

Hydraulic Rig
01
Hydraulic Rig

We specialize in bored piling with diameters ranging from 200 mm to 2000 mm and depths up to 50 meters. Using advanced hydraulic rotary rigs, we execute piling operations efficiently across a wide range of soil conditions. Our fleet includes high-performance rotary drilling rigs capable of working in restricted headroom areas while delivering precision, stability, and high productivity.

Secant Pile Walls
02
Secant Pile Walls

Secant pile walls are constructed by intersecting reinforced concrete piles to form a continuous retaining structure. Primary piles are installed first, followed by reinforced secondary piles after sufficient curing. This technique provides excellent groundwater control and soil retention, making it ideal for deep excavations, basements, and foundation support in challenging ground conditions.

Manual Auger Method
03
Manual Auger Method

The Manual Auger Method is a reliable piling technique suitable for locations with restricted access or where low noise and vibration are essential. A tripod and manual winch system are used to drill boreholes using a helical auger. This method is commonly employed for pile diameters ranging from 250 mm to 1000 mm and offers an economical solution for smaller foundation projects.

TMR — Water Circulation
04
TMR — Water Circulation

Our Truck Mounted Rotary (TMR) rigs utilize continuous bentonite slurry circulation to stabilize boreholes during drilling. Auger drilling is performed to the required depth while bentonite slurry supports the excavation and carries excavated soil back to a recycling tank. This method ensures bore stability, efficient spoil removal, and high productivity, particularly in loose or soft soil strata.

DMC Pile Method
05
DMC Pile Method

The DMC Pile Method employs Mendola-type rigs combined with bentonite drilling fluid for safe and efficient pile construction. Surface soil is loosened using a bailer before drilling continues with a percussion chisel. Bentonite slurry stabilizes the bore while transporting excavated material to settling pits. Once the desired depth is achieved, the drilling tools are removed and the final depth is verified before reinforcement and concreting.

Tractor Mounted Rotary Rig
06
Tractor Mounted Rotary Rig

This method utilizes tractor-mounted rotary drilling rigs for fast and economical pile boring. Auger drilling is carried out to the required depth, with DMC rods added progressively to achieve deeper penetration through varying soil strata. It is particularly suitable for medium-depth foundation works and offers drilling capacities of up to 16 meters with excellent operational efficiency.

Piling Company in Chennai – Built for Marine Clay & Coastal Soil

Piling work in Chennai is not the same as piling on inland ground. The city sits on marine clay in coastal areas, sandy soil along OMR and ECR, and a high water table near the shoreline. Add cyclone wind loads and seismic zone III requirements, and it becomes clear why choosing the right piling company in Chennai matters so much. Jalmala Boring Works brings 60+ years of piling experience and ISO 9001:2015 certified processes to every piling project in Chennai we take on.

Why Chennai Needs Specialized Piling Expertise

Chennai's soil profile changes dramatically over short distances. Marine clay in areas like Besant Nagar, Thiruvanmiyur, and along ECR demands careful shaft friction calculations and conservative settlement estimates. Sandy soil in the OMR corridor can collapse during boring if casing and bentonite are not managed properly. The high water table across coastal Chennai means borehole stability is never optional. A piling company in Chennai who has not worked in these conditions will either over-design and waste money, or under-design and put the structure at risk.

Our Piling & Deep Foundation Services in Chennai

As a specialist piling company in Chennai, we deliver four interconnected deep foundation disciplines. Our piling services use SANY hydraulic piling rigs for high-rise, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects across Chennai. Our pile foundation work supports high-rise and industrial structures. Our diaphragm wall construction is trusted for deep basements, metro corridors, and coastal retaining structures. And our ground anchoring systems provide lateral support for slopes, shoring, and excavation support in high-water-table conditions.

Serving Chennai, OMR, ECR, Tambaram & Sriperumbudur

We serve the entire Chennai region — including piling projects along OMR, ECR, Tambaram, Sriperumbudur, Chengalpattu, Kanchipuram, Thiruvallur, Avadi, Ambattur, Porur, and Ennore. Our rigs and teams mobilize quickly across the region, and we coordinate with local consultants and site engineers to keep the programme on track. Whether your project is a high-rise tower along OMR, a commercial complex on ECR, an industrial facility in Sriperumbudur, or infrastructure work in Ennore, our piling company team in Chennai is ready to mobilize.

We also work extensively outside Chennai — our headquarters is in Ahmedabad, and we have active operations across 20+ Indian states. This gives clients in Chennai a partner who can scale with them across multiple sites. When project owners compare piling companies in Chennai, they look for a team that combines local project experience with national execution capability. That is what Jalmala Boring Works delivers.

Safety, Quality, and On-Time Delivery

Chennai's marine clay and high water table demand disciplined bentonite management and trained site teams. Our piling projects in Chennai follow the same ISO 9001:2015 certified processes we use everywhere — third-party inspections, documented safety protocols, and a zero trench collapse record. When you hire Jalmala Boring Works as your piling company in Chennai, you gain a partner who treats your timeline and your safety standards as commitments, not targets.
