Pile Foundation
Bored Cast-in-Situ Piling Specialists
Jalmala Boring Works provides Pile Foundation and Deep Foundation Solutions using Bored Cast-in-Situ Piles for residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. With advanced Hydraulic Rotary Rigs, we construct piles from 300 mm to 1800 mm diameter and depths of up to 50 metres, delivering reliable load-bearing capacity across soft soil, hard rock, and high groundwater conditions.

Our Piling Methods
We deploy six proven techniques — selected based on soil profile, site constraints, and project requirements.

We specialize in bored piling with diameters ranging from 200 mm to 2000 mm and depths up to 50 meters. Using advanced hydraulic rotary rigs, we execute piling operations efficiently across a wide range of soil conditions. Our fleet includes high-performance rotary drilling rigs capable of working in restricted headroom areas while delivering precision, stability, and high productivity.

Secant pile walls are constructed by intersecting reinforced concrete piles to form a continuous retaining structure. Primary piles are installed first, followed by reinforced secondary piles after sufficient curing. This technique provides excellent groundwater control and soil retention, making it ideal for deep excavations, basements, and foundation support in challenging ground conditions.

The Manual Auger Method is a reliable piling technique suitable for locations with restricted access or where low noise and vibration are essential. A tripod and manual winch system are used to drill boreholes using a helical auger. This method is commonly employed for pile diameters ranging from 250 mm to 1000 mm and offers an economical solution for smaller foundation projects.

Our Truck Mounted Rotary (TMR) rigs utilize continuous bentonite slurry circulation to stabilize boreholes during drilling. Auger drilling is performed to the required depth while bentonite slurry supports the excavation and carries excavated soil back to a recycling tank. This method ensures bore stability, efficient spoil removal, and high productivity, particularly in loose or soft soil strata.

The DMC Pile Method employs Mendola-type rigs combined with bentonite drilling fluid for safe and efficient pile construction. Surface soil is loosened using a bailer before drilling continues with a percussion chisel. Bentonite slurry stabilizes the bore while transporting excavated material to settling pits. Once the desired depth is achieved, the drilling tools are removed and the final depth is verified before reinforcement and concreting.

This method utilizes tractor-mounted rotary drilling rigs for fast and economical pile boring. Auger drilling is carried out to the required depth, with DMC rods added progressively to achieve deeper penetration through varying soil strata. It is particularly suitable for medium-depth foundation works and offers drilling capacities of up to 16 meters with excellent operational efficiency.

Hiring a Pile Foundation Contractor in Gujarat – What to Look For
Gujarat has hundreds of contractors who claim to offer pile foundation contractor services. The challenge is not finding a contractor — it is finding the right one. A pile foundation contractor in Gujarat who has not worked in Kutch's saline clay, Saurashtra's basalt, South Gujarat's alluvial deposits, and North Gujarat's rocky strata will not deliver the same result as one who has. This page explains what to look for when hiring, and why Jalmala Boring Works meets every criterion.
What Makes a Good Pile Foundation Contractor in Gujarat
Six criteria separate the best pile foundation contractors in Gujarat from the rest. First, ISO 9001:2015 certification — not just a claim, but a verifiable certificate from an accredited body with pile foundation in the scope. Second, verifiable project history in Gujarat specifically — not just other states. Third, a documented safety record including trench collapse history, lost-time injury statistics, and safety protocols. Fourth, owned equipment fleet — contractors who subcontract rigs have less control over equipment condition and schedule. Fifth, geotechnical expertise — the contractor should be able to review your soil report and identify design issues before mobilization. Sixth, after-completion support — load test reports, documentation, and warranty on workmanship.
How Jalmala Boring Works Meets Each Criterion
ISO 9001:2015 certification — issued by an accredited body, with pile foundation and deep excavation explicitly in scope. Our certificate is available for review on request. Gujarat project history — we have executed pile foundation projects across all 33 Gujarat districts, from Ahmedabad high-rises to Mundra port infrastructure to Dholera SIR greenfield work. Safety record — zero trench collapse across all projects in 20+ Indian states, with documented bentonite management protocols and third-party safety audits. Equipment ownership — we own our fleet of SANY hydraulic piling rigs, chiselling rigs, and ancillary equipment. No subcontracting. Geotechnical expertise — our engineering team reviews your soil report, identifies rock-level discrepancies, and adjusts pile design before mobilization. After-completion support — full load test reports, as-built drawings, and a documented warranty on workmanship.
Our Three Core Services in Gujarat
As a specialist pile foundation contractor in Gujarat, we deliver three interconnected deep foundation services. Our pile foundation work covers bored cast-in-situ piles, driven piles, and rock-socketed piles for industrial, infrastructure, commercial, and residential projects across Gujarat. Our diaphragm wall construction serves deep basements, metro corridors, and water-retaining structures. And our ground anchoring systems provide lateral support for slope stability, shoring, and excavation support in every soil condition Gujarat presents. For a detailed look at how these services apply across Gujarat's four regional soil zones and industrial corridors, see our pile foundation services in Gujarat page.
Our Team, Equipment & Process
A pile foundation contractor in Gujarat is only as good as its team and equipment. We run a 150-person organization with dedicated project managers, geotechnical engineers, site supervisors, and rig operators. Our equipment fleet includes SANY hydraulic piling rigs capable of diameters from 450 mm to 1,500 mm, chiselling rigs for Saurashtra basalt and Kutch hard strata, and specialized attachment systems for bentonite management. Every project follows the same process: geotechnical review, pile design verification, method statement preparation, rig mobilization, installation with continuous monitoring, load testing per IS 2911 Part 4, and final documentation. This is the process that has earned us our 4.9/5 client rating and 60+ years of continuous operation.
Serving All 33 Gujarat Districts
From our headquarters in Sarkhej, Ahmedabad, we deploy teams and equipment across all 33 Gujarat districts. Whether your project is a residential high-rise in Ahmedabad, a commercial complex in Surat, an industrial plant in Sanand, a port expansion in Mundra, a chemical facility in Dahej, a greenfield development in Dholera, or infrastructure work in Kutch, we can mobilize within 48 hours. Our site visit commitment is standard for qualified projects — we do not price pile foundation work from a desk.
Why Gujarat Project Owners Choose Jalmala Boring Works
When project owners compare pile foundation contractors in Gujarat, three things consistently tip the decision toward Jalmala Boring Works. First, our three-generation family ownership — since 1962, with the current generation actively running the business, not just lending its name. Second, our technical depth — we catch soil-report issues, rock-level discrepancies, and design inefficiencies before they become site problems. Third, our safety-first culture — zero trench collapse is not a marketing line, it is a documented outcome of disciplined bentonite management and trained teams. If you are comparing contractors, ask for our ISO certificate, safety record, project references, and load test reports. We are happy to share all four.
