Pile Foundation
Bored Cast-in-Situ Piling Specialists
Jalmala Boring Works provides Pile Foundation and Deep Foundation Solutions using Bored Cast-in-Situ Piles for residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. With advanced Hydraulic Rotary Rigs, we construct piles from 300 mm to 1800 mm diameter and depths of up to 50 metres, delivering reliable load-bearing capacity across soft soil, hard rock, and high groundwater conditions.

Our Piling Methods
We deploy six proven techniques — selected based on soil profile, site constraints, and project requirements.

We specialize in bored piling with diameters ranging from 200 mm to 2000 mm and depths up to 50 meters. Using advanced hydraulic rotary rigs, we execute piling operations efficiently across a wide range of soil conditions. Our fleet includes high-performance rotary drilling rigs capable of working in restricted headroom areas while delivering precision, stability, and high productivity.

Secant pile walls are constructed by intersecting reinforced concrete piles to form a continuous retaining structure. Primary piles are installed first, followed by reinforced secondary piles after sufficient curing. This technique provides excellent groundwater control and soil retention, making it ideal for deep excavations, basements, and foundation support in challenging ground conditions.

The Manual Auger Method is a reliable piling technique suitable for locations with restricted access or where low noise and vibration are essential. A tripod and manual winch system are used to drill boreholes using a helical auger. This method is commonly employed for pile diameters ranging from 250 mm to 1000 mm and offers an economical solution for smaller foundation projects.

Our Truck Mounted Rotary (TMR) rigs utilize continuous bentonite slurry circulation to stabilize boreholes during drilling. Auger drilling is performed to the required depth while bentonite slurry supports the excavation and carries excavated soil back to a recycling tank. This method ensures bore stability, efficient spoil removal, and high productivity, particularly in loose or soft soil strata.

The DMC Pile Method employs Mendola-type rigs combined with bentonite drilling fluid for safe and efficient pile construction. Surface soil is loosened using a bailer before drilling continues with a percussion chisel. Bentonite slurry stabilizes the bore while transporting excavated material to settling pits. Once the desired depth is achieved, the drilling tools are removed and the final depth is verified before reinforcement and concreting.

This method utilizes tractor-mounted rotary drilling rigs for fast and economical pile boring. Auger drilling is carried out to the required depth, with DMC rods added progressively to achieve deeper penetration through varying soil strata. It is particularly suitable for medium-depth foundation works and offers drilling capacities of up to 16 meters with excellent operational efficiency.

Pile Foundation Contractor Mehsana – ONGC Vendor Registration & Oil Field HSE Compliance
This page is for ONGC Mehsana Asset procurement teams, oil field EPC contractors, and oil field facility developers evaluating piling subcontractors. It is not a services overview — it is a functional guide to ONGC vendor registration, HSE compliance, and Mehsana Asset site access protocols that determine whether a piling contractor can actually work on ONGC projects. For the general Mehsana piling services (ONGC infrastructure, Dudhsagar dairy, weathered granite, GIDC), see our Mehsana piling services page.
ONGC Vendor Registration – VRF and Approval Process
ONGC vendor registration for piling work follows a specific process distinct from other PSUs. First, submission of the ONGC Vendor Registration Form (VRF) through the ONGC vendor portal or the Mehsana Asset procurement office. Second, document submission — ISO 9001:2015 certificate, HSE compliance records, financials (3 years audited), oil field or similar industrial project references, and statutory compliance. Third, technical capability verification — equipment inventory, key personnel, past oil field experience. Initial registration takes 6-10 weeks; project-specific approval adds 3-4 weeks. Contractors not yet in the ONGC vendor system face 8-12 week delays for their first project. Our ONGC Mehsana vendor registration is current and PQ-complete.
ONGC HSE Compliance – Stricter Than General Construction
ONGC HSE compliance for piling contractors is more rigorous than general construction HSE. Required documentation: documented HSE Management System aligned with ONGC's HSE policy; safety management system with ISO 45001 or equivalent; operator competency certificates for rig operators, crane operators, and hot-work personnel; permit-to-work system familiarity; gas testing and confined-space awareness; HSE training records for all site personnel; lost-time injury statistics for last 3 years; third-party safety audit reports; contractor all-risk insurance; and OSEP coordination documentation. Missing any of these typically results in HSE disqualification — the most common reason ONGC vendor registration fails for first-time contractors. Our ONGC HSE-compliant piling documentation is complete on first submission.
OSEP (On-Site Emergency Plan) – The Biggest Mobilization Bottleneck
OSEP (On-Site Emergency Plan) is a facility-level emergency response plan required at all ONGC installations, including Mehsana Asset wells, GGS, and processing facilities. For piling contractors, OSEP familiarity means: knowing the facility's emergency response procedures; understanding gas alarm levels and evacuation protocols; coordination with facility HSE team on contractor-specific OSEP additions; familiarity with mutual aid response; and participation in OSEP drills before mobilization. Contractors unfamiliar with OSEP processes face 4-6 week delays in HSE approval — often the single biggest bottleneck in ONGC project mobilization. Our Mehsana Asset OSEP coordination is part of standard scope.
Mehsana Asset Site Access Protocols
ONGC Mehsana Asset site access requires specific protocols: gate pass application for all contractor personnel and equipment; personnel security clearance verification; vehicle registration and inspection; HSE induction training for all personnel before first entry; gas monitoring and PPE compliance; daily toolbox talks and permit-to-work systems; coordination with Asset HSE team on all site activities; and emergency contact protocols. Contractors unfamiliar with these protocols often lose 1-2 weeks on gate pass and induction delays — even after vendor registration is complete. Our Mehsana Asset site access protocols are pre-cleared as part of standard scope.
ONGC e-Tender Portal and PQ Pack
ONGC piling tenders are published on ONGC e-tender portal (etender.ongc.co.in), CPPP, and GeM. Registration is free but requires PQ documents including ISO 9001:2015 certificate, HSE compliance, oil field project references, equipment capability statement, statutory compliance, and past load test/PIT reports. Missing any of these results in technical disqualification. Our ONGC piling PQ pack is complete on first submission — a differentiator that saves 4-6 weeks of evaluation time for ONGC procurement teams.
