Pile Foundation
Bored Cast-in-Situ Piling Specialists
Jalmala Boring Works provides Pile Foundation and Deep Foundation Solutions using Bored Cast-in-Situ Piles for residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. With advanced Hydraulic Rotary Rigs, we construct piles from 300 mm to 1800 mm diameter and depths of up to 50 metres, delivering reliable load-bearing capacity across soft soil, hard rock, and high groundwater conditions.

Our Piling Methods
We deploy six proven techniques — selected based on soil profile, site constraints, and project requirements.

We specialize in bored piling with diameters ranging from 200 mm to 2000 mm and depths up to 50 meters. Using advanced hydraulic rotary rigs, we execute piling operations efficiently across a wide range of soil conditions. Our fleet includes high-performance rotary drilling rigs capable of working in restricted headroom areas while delivering precision, stability, and high productivity.

Secant pile walls are constructed by intersecting reinforced concrete piles to form a continuous retaining structure. Primary piles are installed first, followed by reinforced secondary piles after sufficient curing. This technique provides excellent groundwater control and soil retention, making it ideal for deep excavations, basements, and foundation support in challenging ground conditions.

The Manual Auger Method is a reliable piling technique suitable for locations with restricted access or where low noise and vibration are essential. A tripod and manual winch system are used to drill boreholes using a helical auger. This method is commonly employed for pile diameters ranging from 250 mm to 1000 mm and offers an economical solution for smaller foundation projects.

Our Truck Mounted Rotary (TMR) rigs utilize continuous bentonite slurry circulation to stabilize boreholes during drilling. Auger drilling is performed to the required depth while bentonite slurry supports the excavation and carries excavated soil back to a recycling tank. This method ensures bore stability, efficient spoil removal, and high productivity, particularly in loose or soft soil strata.

The DMC Pile Method employs Mendola-type rigs combined with bentonite drilling fluid for safe and efficient pile construction. Surface soil is loosened using a bailer before drilling continues with a percussion chisel. Bentonite slurry stabilizes the bore while transporting excavated material to settling pits. Once the desired depth is achieved, the drilling tools are removed and the final depth is verified before reinforcement and concreting.

This method utilizes tractor-mounted rotary drilling rigs for fast and economical pile boring. Auger drilling is carried out to the required depth, with DMC rods added progressively to achieve deeper penetration through varying soil strata. It is particularly suitable for medium-depth foundation works and offers drilling capacities of up to 16 meters with excellent operational efficiency.

Pile Foundation Contractor in Surat – Verifiable References, Contract Terms & Due Diligence
Every pile foundation contractor in Surat claims to be the best. Few can prove it. This page is not about why we are the best — it is about how you can verify it before you award. It covers the project references we make available, the contract terms we offer, the warranty we honor, the payment schedule we follow, and the due diligence steps you can take to check every claim we make. If you are comparing Surat pile foundation contractors, this is the checklist that separates us from the ones who will disappear after signing.
Verify Our Claims — What You Can Check Before You Award
Jalmala Boring Works invites every Surat client to a five-step due diligence process before award. First, project references — we provide a list of completed Surat projects with client contacts you can call directly. Second, live site visits — we arrange visits to one or more current Surat projects so you can observe our team, equipment, and safety practices in operation. Third, load test and PIT reports — we share complete test reports from past Surat projects (pile integrity test results for 100% of piles, static load test reports for sample piles per IS 2911 Part 4). Fourth, ISO certificate verification — we provide the ISO 9001:2015 certificate number, issuing body, and expiry date, all verifiable directly with the certification body. Fifth, meet the team — you meet the project manager assigned to your project before signing, so you know who will actually be on site. This due diligence is free and typically takes one week.
Contract Terms – Transparent From the Proposal Stage
Our pile foundation contract terms in Surat follow a standard template provided at the proposal stage — before you sign. Key terms include: per-cubic-meter or per-pile pricing with GST clearly shown, milestone-based payment (typically 30% mobilization, 40% during piling, 20% on completion, 10% retention against defect liability), 12-month defect liability on workmanship from handover, performance bank guarantee or retention appropriate to project scale, and standard insurance requirements (workmen compensation, third-party liability, contractor all-risk). Variations follow a documented change order process — written request, cost and schedule assessment, written approval before execution. We do not execute verbal change instructions, and we do not surprise clients with hidden clauses at signing. The draft contract is yours to review with your legal counsel before award.
Warranty and Defect Liability – 12 Months on Workmanship
Jalmala Boring Works provides a 12-month defect liability period on workmanship from the date of project handover for every pile foundation project in Surat. This covers concrete quality, pile integrity (as verified by PIT), alignment, and any workmanship-related issues that surface within the warranty period. Repairs within warranty are made at no cost to the client. The warranty is documented in the contract — not implied. We also honor the warranty in practice: past clients have had minor honeycombing at pile heads and surface defects repaired within 10 days at our cost. The 12-month warranty is not unusual in the industry; honoring it is.
Handover Documentation – Complete and Yours to Keep
At handover, every Surat pile foundation project includes a complete documentation pack. This includes as-built pile layout drawings, pile installation logs with boring depth, cage details, concreting records, and casing extraction records, bentonite slurry test records from every shift, concrete cube test results, pile integrity test (PIT) reports for 100% of piles, static load test reports for sample piles per IS 2911 Part 4, and a handover certificate with warranty terms. This documentation is usable for municipal approvals, future building modifications, and any structural audit. Contractors who hand over without this documentation leave you exposed — we do not.
Change Orders – Documented, Not Verbal
Change orders cause 90% of construction disputes. Our process for Surat pile foundation projects eliminates this risk: every change starts with a written change request from the client or consultant, follows with a cost and schedule impact assessment from us, requires written approval before execution, and is paid per the contract's variation clause. Verbal change instructions are not executed. This protects you from unauthorized cost creep, and it protects us from clients who retroactively dispute completed work. In a city like Surat where developer-consultant-contractor relationships are dense and long-term, this discipline matters.
Why This Transparency Matters in Surat
Surat's construction market is competitive — dozens of pile foundation contractors bid for every project, and price competition is fierce. That competition tempts some contractors to underbid and make up margin through change orders, hidden clauses, or warranty denials. The result: projects that look cheap at signing but cost more than they should by handover. Our transparent contract and verification approach is designed for clients who understand that the cheapest bid is not the cheapest project. When you compare a bid from Jalmala Boring Works against others, we welcome the comparison — because we provide the documentation to make an informed decision, not just a price sheet.
