Pile Foundation
Bored Cast-in-Situ Piling Specialists
Jalmala Boring Works provides Pile Foundation and Deep Foundation Solutions using Bored Cast-in-Situ Piles for residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. With advanced Hydraulic Rotary Rigs, we construct piles from 300 mm to 1800 mm diameter and depths of up to 50 metres, delivering reliable load-bearing capacity across soft soil, hard rock, and high groundwater conditions.

Our Piling Methods
We deploy six proven techniques — selected based on soil profile, site constraints, and project requirements.

We specialize in bored piling with diameters ranging from 200 mm to 2000 mm and depths up to 50 meters. Using advanced hydraulic rotary rigs, we execute piling operations efficiently across a wide range of soil conditions. Our fleet includes high-performance rotary drilling rigs capable of working in restricted headroom areas while delivering precision, stability, and high productivity.

Secant pile walls are constructed by intersecting reinforced concrete piles to form a continuous retaining structure. Primary piles are installed first, followed by reinforced secondary piles after sufficient curing. This technique provides excellent groundwater control and soil retention, making it ideal for deep excavations, basements, and foundation support in challenging ground conditions.

The Manual Auger Method is a reliable piling technique suitable for locations with restricted access or where low noise and vibration are essential. A tripod and manual winch system are used to drill boreholes using a helical auger. This method is commonly employed for pile diameters ranging from 250 mm to 1000 mm and offers an economical solution for smaller foundation projects.

Our Truck Mounted Rotary (TMR) rigs utilize continuous bentonite slurry circulation to stabilize boreholes during drilling. Auger drilling is performed to the required depth while bentonite slurry supports the excavation and carries excavated soil back to a recycling tank. This method ensures bore stability, efficient spoil removal, and high productivity, particularly in loose or soft soil strata.

The DMC Pile Method employs Mendola-type rigs combined with bentonite drilling fluid for safe and efficient pile construction. Surface soil is loosened using a bailer before drilling continues with a percussion chisel. Bentonite slurry stabilizes the bore while transporting excavated material to settling pits. Once the desired depth is achieved, the drilling tools are removed and the final depth is verified before reinforcement and concreting.

This method utilizes tractor-mounted rotary drilling rigs for fast and economical pile boring. Auger drilling is carried out to the required depth, with DMC rods added progressively to achieve deeper penetration through varying soil strata. It is particularly suitable for medium-depth foundation works and offers drilling capacities of up to 16 meters with excellent operational efficiency.

Piling Contractor in Surat – Project-Size Guide for Every Tier
Not every piling project is the same size — and the piling contractor who handles a 300-pile industrial project is not always the right choice for a 25-pile villa. The equipment is different, the pricing structure is different, the testing protocol is different, and the timeline expectations are different. If you are looking for a piling contractor in Surat, the first question is not "who is best?" — it is "who is right for my project size?" This page breaks piling down into four Surat project tiers, explains what each tier requires, and describes how Jalmala Boring Works adapts its approach to each.
Tier 1 – Villa & Small Commercial (20–40 Piles)
Villa and small commercial projects in Surat — typically in Vesu, Pal, Adajan, Piplod, City Light, Varachha, and Katargam — require 20–40 piles of 400–600 mm diameter at 10–18 meter depths. Load capacity per pile is typically 50–150 tonnes. Timeline: 2–3 weeks of active piling after mobilization. Pricing structure: higher per-unit rates than larger projects because mobilization, equipment, and testing costs are amortized over fewer piles — reference range is ₹500–1,000 per running foot. Testing: sample load tests and PIT per IS 2911 Part 4. Key challenge: site access in dense neighborhoods like Varachha and Katargam often requires compact rigs. Our villa piling services in Surat use compact equipment and honest pricing — no over-engineering, no upsells, no big-project rates applied to small projects.
Tier 2 – Mid-Rise Commercial (50–100 Piles)
Mid-rise commercial projects (G+5 to G+10) in Surat often involve 50–100 piles of 600–800 mm diameter at 15–25 meter depths, with capacities of 150–300 tonnes per pile. These projects typically sit in Vesu, City Light, Athwa, and Adajan. Timeline: 4–6 weeks of active piling (2–3 piles per rig per day). Pricing structure: mid-tier economics — reference range ₹700–1,500 per running foot. Testing: static load tests on 1–2 sample piles and PIT on 100%. Key challenge: cash flow matching construction schedule — mobilization is typically staged so that piling progress aligns with the developer's financing structure. Our mid-rise piling projects in Surat include staged mobilization and clear weekly progress reporting.
Tier 3 – High-Rise Residential (100–200 Piles)
High-rise residential (G+15 to G+25) in Surat's premium corridors — Vesu, Pal, Adajan, Piplod, and City Light — typically requires 100–200 piles of 700–1,000 mm diameter at 20–30 meter depths, with capacities of 300–600 tonnes per pile. Timeline: 6–10 weeks of active piling. Pricing structure: reference range ₹800–2,000 per running foot, with deeper piles and stricter testing requirements. Testing: 1% minimum static load tests per IS 2911 Part 4, PIT on 100%, and settlement monitoring during construction. Key challenge: high-rise piling in dense urban corridors requires careful coordination with adjacent structures and strict vibration control. Our high-rise piling in Surat includes tower crane foundation integration and vibration monitoring.
Tier 4 – Industrial & Large-Scale (200+ Piles)
Industrial and large-scale projects in Surat — including Pandesara GIDC, Sachin GIDC, Hazira, and Dumas — typically involve 200+ piles of 800–1,500 mm diameter at 20–35+ meter depths, with capacities of 500–800 tonnes per pile for heavy machinery and material storage loads. Timeline: 8–14 weeks of active piling, often with multiple rigs operating in parallel. Pricing structure: custom pricing based on load requirements and testing scope — larger projects achieve better per-unit economics but require stricter quality and documentation. Testing: full static load tests on 1–2 piles minimum, PIT on 100%, and often dynamic testing per IS 2911 Part 4. Key challenge: coordination with adjacent operating industrial units (especially in Pandesara and Sachin GIDC where access is constrained). Our industrial piling in Surat includes multi-rig deployment and industrial-grade documentation.
How to Choose the Right Piling Contractor for Your Tier
The right piling contractor in Surat for a villa is often not the right one for a 300-pile industrial project, and vice versa. When comparing contractors for your tier, ask: (1) Have they done projects of my size before? — ask for references specifically in that size range; (2) Do they have the right equipment? — a large contractor with only big rigs may not access a villa site, and a small contractor may lack the capacity for 200+ piles; (3) Is the pricing structure appropriate for my tier? — small projects should get honest small-project pricing, not big-project rates; (4) Is the testing protocol proportionate to my project? — villas don't need 100% dynamic testing, industrial projects shouldn't skip it. Jalmala Boring Works executes projects across all four tiers, which is why we can size recommendations correctly instead of over-engineering or under-engineering.
