How We Work

Our Piling Methods

We deploy six proven techniques — selected based on soil profile, site constraints, and project requirements.

Hydraulic Rig
01
Hydraulic Rig

We specialize in bored piling with diameters ranging from 200 mm to 2000 mm and depths up to 50 meters. Using advanced hydraulic rotary rigs, we execute piling operations efficiently across a wide range of soil conditions. Our fleet includes high-performance rotary drilling rigs capable of working in restricted headroom areas while delivering precision, stability, and high productivity.

Secant Pile Walls
02
Secant Pile Walls

Secant pile walls are constructed by intersecting reinforced concrete piles to form a continuous retaining structure. Primary piles are installed first, followed by reinforced secondary piles after sufficient curing. This technique provides excellent groundwater control and soil retention, making it ideal for deep excavations, basements, and foundation support in challenging ground conditions.

Manual Auger Method
03
Manual Auger Method

The Manual Auger Method is a reliable piling technique suitable for locations with restricted access or where low noise and vibration are essential. A tripod and manual winch system are used to drill boreholes using a helical auger. This method is commonly employed for pile diameters ranging from 250 mm to 1000 mm and offers an economical solution for smaller foundation projects.

TMR — Water Circulation
04
TMR — Water Circulation

Our Truck Mounted Rotary (TMR) rigs utilize continuous bentonite slurry circulation to stabilize boreholes during drilling. Auger drilling is performed to the required depth while bentonite slurry supports the excavation and carries excavated soil back to a recycling tank. This method ensures bore stability, efficient spoil removal, and high productivity, particularly in loose or soft soil strata.

DMC Pile Method
05
DMC Pile Method

The DMC Pile Method employs Mendola-type rigs combined with bentonite drilling fluid for safe and efficient pile construction. Surface soil is loosened using a bailer before drilling continues with a percussion chisel. Bentonite slurry stabilizes the bore while transporting excavated material to settling pits. Once the desired depth is achieved, the drilling tools are removed and the final depth is verified before reinforcement and concreting.

Tractor Mounted Rotary Rig
06
Tractor Mounted Rotary Rig

This method utilizes tractor-mounted rotary drilling rigs for fast and economical pile boring. Auger drilling is carried out to the required depth, with DMC rods added progressively to achieve deeper penetration through varying soil strata. It is particularly suitable for medium-depth foundation works and offers drilling capacities of up to 16 meters with excellent operational efficiency.

Hydraulic Piling Contractor Gujarat – SANY Rig Specialists for Bored & Rock-Socketed Piles

Most piling contractors in Gujarat list "bored piling" or "rotary piling" without specifying their equipment. But the rig is the contractor — a modern SANY hydraulic piling rig delivers precision depth control, quieter operation, reduced vibration, and better fuel efficiency than mechanical winch rigs or diesel hammers. If you are searching for a hydraulic piling contractor in Gujarat, you need a team operating the right equipment for your specific project — not a contractor who sends whatever rig is available. Jalmala Boring Works has operated hydraulic piling rigs since they became the industry standard, and today our fleet of SANY SR-series rigs serves hydraulic piling projects across Gujarat and 20+ Indian states.

Hydraulic vs Mechanical vs Diesel-Hammer Piling – What Actually Differs

Three piling approaches dominate Gujarat, and they are fundamentally different. Hydraulic piling rigs use hydraulic power for rotary drilling, casing oscillation, and crowd control — the modern standard for bored cast-in-situ and rock-socketed piles. Mechanical winch rigs use cable-driven drilling — older equipment still used where cost is the primary concern, but with 2-3× slower progress and higher fuel consumption per meter. Diesel hammer piling is not a rotary method at all — it drives pre-cast piles into the ground with a diesel-powered hammer. Diesel hammers are used for driven pile projects where soil densification is desired, but generate 20-30 dB more noise and 5-10× more vibration than hydraulic rotary piling. For urban Gujarat projects near hospitals, schools, or existing structures, hydraulic rotary piling is the only compliant option.

SANY SR Series – Our Hydraulic Piling Rig Fleet

Our fleet of SANY hydraulic piling rigs in Gujarat spans the full range of pile diameters and depths. SANY SR150 — 450-800 mm diameter, up to 30 meter depth, for villas and mid-rise buildings. SANY SR235 — 600-1,000 mm diameter, up to 40 meter depth, for high-rise residential and commercial. SANY SR285 — 800-1,200 mm diameter, up to 50 meter depth, for tall towers and infrastructure. SANY SR360 — 1,000-1,500 mm diameter, up to 60 meter depth, for major infrastructure and refinery structures. SANY casing oscillator — for rock and boulder sites requiring full casing to depth. Each rig has its own advantages for specific soil conditions, and our team selects the appropriate rig before mobilization — not after.

Precision Depth Control – ±50 mm vs ±500 mm for Older Rigs

Depth precision matters more than clients often realize. Our SANY hydraulic rigs achieve ±50 mm depth accuracy through digital depth monitoring and hydraulic crowd control. Older mechanical winch rigs achieve ±300-500 mm accuracy — meaning 10 piles can vary by up to 5 meters in depth, requiring larger pile caps and higher concrete consumption. For hydraulic piling projects in Gujarat where pile depths exceed 30 meters, this precision difference is significant — a higher-level pile means more concrete, larger pile cap, and higher total project cost.

Rock Socketing in Gujarat's Diverse Geology

Gujarat's geology spans four distinct rock conditions, and hydraulic rigs handle all four. Saurashtra basalt (Rajkot, Junagadh, Bhavnagar) — 30-200 MPa unconfined compressive strength, typically at 3-8 meter depth. North Gujarat weathered granite (Mehsana, Palanpur) — 30-150 MPa, variable depth 3-15 meters. Kutch hard strata (Bhuj, Mundra) — variable hardness, shallow to moderate depth. South Gujarat alluvium (Surat, Bharuch) — no rock but deep friction piles to 40+ meters. Our rock-socketed hydraulic piling in Gujarat uses SANY casing oscillators and rock drilling attachments to handle all four conditions — chiselling through Saurashtra basalt, socketing into weathered granite in Mehsana, penetrating Kutch hard strata, and drilling deep friction piles in South Gujarat alluvium.

Noise & Vibration – The Urban Gujarat Advantage

Hydraulic piling rigs generate 10-15 dB less noise and 5-10× less vibration than diesel-hammer piling. For Gujarat urban projects near sensitive receptors, this is the difference between approval and rejection. A hospital in Surat requires vibration below 2-3 mm/s — only hydraulic rotary piling meets this. A residential area in Ahmedabad requires noise below 65 dB(A) at property line — only hydraulic rigs achieve this without special waivers. An office building in Gandhinagar requires vibration below 5 mm/s for adjacent structures — hydraulic piling delivers. Our hydraulic piling contractor team in Gujarat has executed projects at hospitals, near schools, adjacent to heritage structures, and in dense urban environments — all with hydraulic rigs.
